I lived in Japan from 97 to 2000 and went to loads of psytrance parties from Equinox to Vision Quest to Chikuya to Solstice and even Eimy Time Trance and Hiro (RIP). Loads of MDMA, legal mushhies and of course loads of acid. Japan was the best for everything and the quality was always good. Well you just had to be there, still think about them 20 years later. Amazing and nobody even knew they existed except for the 500 stomping away deep in the Japanese forests. Even on the beach with Goa Gil on Nijima. The Yokohama Bay Hall gets a big thumbs up as well. Absolutely mental esp the first Vision Quest party with Hallucinogen.Here is to all the Japanese munters. Prob the best psy trance scene in the world at that time(One of the guys from X Dream told me that).They deft personified the wackiness of Japan, esp when the sun came up.

At that time, Japanese party scene attracted many foreign traveler and they brought Goa Trance and party culture to Japan. I appreciate everything and everyone that create good party atmosphere together.

Do you still live in Japan? I have never been to a rave in Japan and would like to go to one but I don‘t know if there are any cuz of corona.
