You wouldn't adopt them, you would enslave them. A Cat should only be held inside when theres absolutely no other option. And since Istanbul is incredibly Cat Friendly, you wouldn't do them any Favour in locking them away.

I've been to Istanbul with my family, there really are so many street cats! And they all are very talkative and affectionate, they aren't afraid of people at all. Everywhere in the streets are bowls with cat food and water, there are little houses (made from carton boxes) for cats too!

When I visited Malta as a boy, they had lots of street cats too. People would build little shanty towns for them, as well as go to the park to feed them dinner in the early evening

we once went to istanbul and there were cats sleeping on bookstores’ magazine displays, cats in the restaurants begging for food, and of course a cat photobombed our family picture

I’ve been to Istanbul and there’s SO MANY CATS once I opened the flat door and there was a cat 🐈 inside (presumably it had jumped through the window), all the cats were really cute. I recommend this place for cat lovers

I am a cat lady who lives in Istanbul and feeds about 35-40 stray cats every day. Almost every day I have to put up with angry people who doesn't love cats and complain about my feeding them. But thanks God majority of people still love stray cats and dogs, protect them and keep feeding them

Istanbul is a forbidden zone for my family. I am afraid we would get arrested for kittennapping one or two of these sweeties. Just looking at them makes you wanna hug, feed and groom them. I bet they would love a couple of toys and the fountain water bowls.
