I organized and decluttered my makeup collection today! Finally got real with myself about my preferences and usage patterns and donated a lot of nice things.

Love this! I regularly clean my makeup collection. There's just something unappealing about products that look caked up or full of gunk. This is also why I don't love that soft style of packaging like Nars uses, nearly impossible to keep clean!

I loved this format, very nice and relaxing. What about doing your next decluttering makeup video in the same format? Like organizing and separating the makeup you'll declutter and talk in the end explaining why you're decluttering each item

i appreciate you using cloths for this, i see some videos similar to this and the person uses a load of tissue paper, which surprises me because 1. i genuinely thought rags/cloths were the norm for cleaning and 2. tissue is a lot harder to use for cleaning these things. some people online really surprise me haha
This is such a good idea. The cleaner recipe sounds like what I'm looking for, too -- ammonia-based glass cleaners have a nasty smell that I don't want lingering on my cosmetics. Spring cleaning FTW!
I did this kind of deep clean (cleaning exteriors, under caps, sanitizing powders) about a year ago, and it was sooo satisfying. It really did make my items seem "new" and exciting all over again.

Ahhhhh I love cleaning my makeup, this video was so satisfying. I find it helps me refocus on the products that I have when I take the time to handle them and clean them and keep them looking as new as possible.

I was so impressed to see that you used cloths. I will try this next time - typically use paper towels, tissues, etc. I also want to slowly work on removing more of the sticky scan tags from my products. 😀

I do enjoy wiping my makeup down too. It’s only my eye/lip pencil sharpeners that I loathe cleaning lol I think they get stained and bits stuck inside little crevices it’s just annoying lol

I really like the idea, but I find the actual cleaning / wiping each product a little boring, so I would wish for that part to be more sped up personally! But really like seeing this and having it on in the background while cleaning myself 🥰

The interesting thing is ilia is a fav of mine and I’ve never had that happen to any three of the bottles I’ve had. I pull up the plunger pinch the dropper then insert it back in to suck up product and pull it out. I treat all droppers this way and I’ve never had a problem. Maybe try that next time. Right now you have product in the actual lid part and that’s what’s causing it to continue being messy like that. The only way to really fix it is to take apart the plunger and clean it out. Otherwise nice collection. I wish I could find good drug store products to save some cash but unfortunately most don’t make anything I like or they aren’t really up to par with my luxury items and so they just don’t work for me. It would be so nice to save some coin lol. Anyone have any suggestions for drug store makeup that is sheer coverage, dewy natural, glowy, pink tone bronzers, beige tone blushes, and mega hold brow gels? Also natural looking lash mascara?
