Some body needs to make a an off set knuckle. It would help with the camber and caster issues from idfs. Cad and a milling machine is all a guy needs to build anything on your mind. Great build so far.
Was going to post on the other vid but work turned on the OT thing so didn't get to it before this one came out. On the other I wouln't call it a fail I would call it Rev A. I like Rev B much better it works the way it/you wanted it to. Reading the feed back here you're getting some good ideas on how to get the steering sorted. Love this channel and the work you do. Have a body that needs paint. Going to try that dish soap thing and see how it turns out if it gets warm.
I use those transmissions with my builds also, but I use another 3 to 1 gear reduction between motor and trans. and a 2 speed transfer case. My builds are heavy, with hardbodies between 15 to 28 lbs and it helps with speedcontrol when crawling.
Thanks for your content....I have a question...since most chassis rails are flat stock, either metal or CF, what made you decide to work with tube stock? Was it just to have a more solid chassis or more material to work with?......Thanks again.....✌✌
@@WafflesRC-pb4nt Cools, thanks for replying, makes sense. I've thought about making my own chassis as well using aluminum flat stock. But haven't made the jump to do it. Just unsure on measurements to go by. But watching your vids has kinda opened me back up to the idea.. thank you.
Looks really good next time you do anything like that it would be easier and just as functional to use a single upper link and just make a Y arm for the lower it would make it a lot easier to get the tires lined up without a jig the arms u made would definitely be extremely hard to get 2 of the same arms
great content! what are the axles your using now, the ones in your mud truck? can you put a link? typically ordering from the same seller insures they are the right axles and I will get the same results as you with the quality.
In regards to Steering they make a pulley system that can mount on the front and allows you to mount the servo anywhere
Nice work, looking really good.

Honestly, it was because it was easy to find, and I knew that it would be strong enough to take a beating without bending

Waffle I love that you make everything from scratch but why do you make your rigs with such a high stance, surely this affects CG
