Genuinely my favorite Ludwig arc, starting off terrible, grinding to get better and incredible Chat songs to push him forward. Everything about the last month or so of content has been peak. Also a great note to end on is the fact that through Luds messaging of never giving up he literally reduced forfeit rates in matches by like a third which is insane.

@breezyk724 the first 2 blocks he places are soul sand, which are slightly shorter than one block. when you place another block, the area it would take up needs to be fully clear of any hitboxes (including the players), so he cant place a full block since hes maybe 1/16th-1/8th of a block in the area. he then places a slab since its shorter, but of course you still have the issue where youre over the ledge and in the space the block would take up. he then places a fence which is 1.5 blocks tall instead. he tries to jump on top of it, but you can only jump over 1 block. he finally places a block on the soul sand to jump over it, but since the fence is a partial block and higher, crouching will not always keep you locked on one block, since youre technically leaving it for a moment. now hes trapped on the slab in a situation he hasnt been able to escape, and to make it worse the dragon throws a fireball thing causing him to jump into the void hes also so damn focused with the most unserious looking gameplay

From Block Wars, solo hardcore playthroughs, Coal I speedruns, meeting Feinberg, reacting to Play offs, reaching iron and gold, and now playing mid-offs. It has to be documented thoroughly

Through all of the years this have been my favourite Ludwig arc. There's never been a time where I felt inclined to watch every vod and every stream as much as with his Minecraft arc. Despite it being kind of corny it was lowkey still inspirational seeing him fail this much just to end up winning in the end.
I actually think this is what shows that lud is a genius at story telling. he devotes himself to his goals, he interacts positively with ALL of his community, and most importantly I can’t imagine anyone will seriously say lud is dogshit at video games for a minute.
