this has been nearly a 2 year long journey. recently i realized that maybe some of our differences are too much. and it doesn't help that there is a certain closed-ness they have to my perspective (which is fine, i struggle to see why they choice to live in the reality they do too but i respect it. they have their reasons and i have mine). i am at a point wear i wish them well, but i am ready to leave this behind forever. that includes me leaving behind a whole life in order to not be around them. i think thats what is best and i know that if this is where i am at, it's where i am supposed to be.

It was Belgian artist Stromae’s song “ta fete” - which is not a happy song, or even a love song - so I thought “ha, well that didn’t work!”. I woke to a text from him of a RUclips clip of Stromae’s “alors on danse”. He and i dont talk… we don’t not talk… but we just find it better if we don’t talk. That was the first message in a month or more.
