Such a beautiful, moving performance. We also did parts of the Vespers with our choir, the finale of Ave Maris still gives me the chills.
¡CALAFATEADO! (Leakless, flawless, polished, perfect, smooth, warm, sweet, etc...) 👍❤
Thank you AF for another moving and beautiful experience. Wow, just wow!
Well, I have a version on cassete that some one gave me more than 20 years ago, that i prefer, sad to say but the finale is flat, no crescendo, and I don't think that the female singer add to the performance
Aha, thanks to the whole group and to Mister Bruce !
Such a shame they had to cancel their concert schedule. Please support them so they can continue bringing this lovely music to us, live and in their glorious recordings.
The best.
I would be your roadie for free if y'all let me play the theorbo an hour a day. Unbelievably visually and aurally appealing. Definitely on my bucket list, encountering the mythical bass lute beast. Might have to sell a kidney to afford one, but the incredible tone would be worth it. Forget the cowbell, I need more theorbo! And the viola da Gamba is lush and dark and rich. Thanks for preserving precious music and instruments of another era
🌺💐❤️💕
She makes far too many motions for this music. Terribly distracting - and suggests a clueless chorus.
She's not only directing the choir, right?
Gosh, I disagree. Her enthusiastic pleasure in the music is transmitted effectively to the performers- and to very good effect. And one could always just listen of course..
