There’s lots of lovely music I’d love to use but unfortunately you are very limited to using only certain pieces that are copyright free. RUclips are good and provide with a good range but they’re not always ideal for boats.
When I was on the broads I saw a heron on top of a floating crane work boat, at that moment although it was a lovely sight, I couldn't help wishing for a crane on a crane, now that would have been in my eyes the ultimate pun and capture on film. Lovely bit of filming Lisa, those birds look so graceful, nature is so diverse and amazing. How lucky we are to see such beauty.
A Crane on a Crane 🏗 😅 They are elegant birds I always think. Some fancy feathers blowing about in the wind too. I also liked the synchronized geese. Even the head bobbing was in time. We are extremely lucky, I just wish, everyone took the time to find the wildlife. It’s everywhere, not just here in Norfolk. Ok, perhaps not the Crane, but everything else is, plus more.
Hi yet another excellent video, with boats ⛵ and some very pretty birds 🐦,,and a very interesting choice of music 🎵, And some great photos at the end, keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing wear you take us for the next adventure 🙂 Best wishes to you
Thank you, I’m still unsure about today’s music but I explain why in my reply to Andy Pandy on this video. 🤦🏻♀️ I adore Crane. Been looking for them for 8 weeks. Finally got lucky ….. once I’d stopped looking for them. 😂 stunning birds and they sound fabulous. I seem to like heron, egret and Crane. All have fancy feathers 😍
Even though the skies look as dull and grey as here in Essex, there's something about the broadland landscape that looks beautiful in all weathers. Seeing those few cruisers on the Thurne, I felt quite jealous. Apart from the short days (and long nights) I could quite happily do a winter tour of the broads, right now... i remember the first time I saw 'Common Cranes', while camping at Waxham in 2002. It was on a May evening, as the sun was setting and we were sitting in the tent. That unmistakable 'trumpeting' call overhead had us scrambling outside, there's no mistaking what they were, even if you've never seen a Common Crane before. Your pictures of the Cranes are absolutely wonderful and the 'flocks' seem to be getting larger as the years pass, which is wonderful too. We just have to hope that our race to cover our green and pleasant land with 'tarmac and bricks & mortar' doesn't affect their numbers adversely... All in all, another lovely film and I thought the 'William Tell overture' fitted in nicely too. 😊
Extremely grey today but as long as it’s not raining, it doesn’t matter. I’ve been searching for the Crane for around 8 weeks . Of course, I wasn’t looking for them today as I was simply driving to Thurne, having long given up on the Crane. I’d been filming the geese up by the reservoir. As I get to Thurne, there they were 😍. They do indeed have a very distinctive sound, once heard, never forgotten. I was a bit too far away for decent photos but I was just so happy to see them. As for the music, well , I’ve change the way I upload music but with that comes many new pieces to use. All royalty free. I’m still getting the hang of the new way as it’s tricky at times. I’m not convinced today’s actually goes with the video but their were no “calm, ambient, 12 minute long” pieces. Switched to Calm Classical and this was the closest I could find time wise. Btw, the grebe I filmed today, sounded more like a cormorant. Is that normal ?
@@NewnameSameme I had to check on the RSPB website, because I honestly can't remember ever hearing a Great Crested Grebe... I listened to the Cormorant, then the G.C.G. and to be honest they sounded quite similar to me, so yeah... I'd say it was pretty normal (to my hearing anyway)... 😆
Thank you so much. 🥰 Picking music is so difficult. I’ve had to leave my comfort zone and now I’m in RUclips’s mix of royalty free pieces. Previously it was all through Apple iPhones but Apple and RUclips ended the partnership. I do prefer the RUclips music 100% but am I brave enough to use some of them 😱😱🤷🏻♀️. Getting your message was great, thank you and thank you for watching. Tomorrow’s video is just the natural sounds around me, while out filming. Hope that works too. 🥰
That’s so kind thank you. I actually filmed tomorrow’s video, today. Lots of lovely background noise from the birds today. No need for music . It’s been a while since that’s happened. 😀🛥⛵️
This was a great video Lisa, the cranes were beautiful, I've never seen them in all the times I've been on the Broads, and the daffodils, spring is on the way, my daffodils are out in the garden along with the crocuses and hyacinths not far behind, and wow what dramatic music, I remember learning to touch type at school to the William Tell overture, we had to hit a key on every beat, and not look at the keyboard, the teacher was a tartar! oh happy days, loved it as usual Lisa, a great detox to a difficult week thanks 🌞🌞⛵⛵
I did Pitman and RSA exams 1, 2, and 3. Now I rarely type at all. All on my phone now. I got to the point of knowing if other typists had learnt Pitman or RSA . I just seemed to know from the sound they made 🤣🤣🤣. I imagine you’d know too. I loved typing but hated shorthand, so dropped that. It reminded me of Maths for some strange reason….. but just loved typing . Couldn’t do as many words a minute now though 🤭. Glad you enjoyed the music. Thank you 🥰
@@NewnameSameme Hi Lisa, yes I did Pitmans didn't do RSA, I don't remember much now, not having used it for years, I did dictaphone typing for a few years but that too was a long time ago, I ended up in social services for 34 years, in community mental health support, working for the local council, let's just say you saw life! but I enjoyed it, I was a switchboard and telex operator in the dim and distant past also, now that's showing my age! Thanks Lisa xx
@@suzannehughes8697 oh I did Telex too but abroad not here. I typed for a local council and then went onto County Council. Many moons ago now. Now self employed and have been for about 15 years. I bet you saw all sorts in your job. 🙌
Hi, we are coming up to the broads and will have a boat. Your welcome to come on a trip with us if you like. Hour up or down the river. Have a think on it and let me know. It's a thanks for these vidios that keep me close to the best holidays I have .

Sounds fabulous . I do work so I’m only free on a Thursday and a Friday. I wouldn’t want you to interrupt your holiday just to suit me . If it ties in with your plans then great, but if not I won’t be offended in the slightest. I’ll wait to hear from you closer to the time when you’ll know more what your plans are. 😀

wow , they were big cranes , i did'nt realise they grew that big , they looked as big ostriches lol .
They do indeed, they’re rather stunning birds. Lots of fancy feathers. I counted 12 today.
Thanks Lisa for a beautiful vlog, great camera work of all the bird life and shows that spring has arrived. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Thank you, spring is definitely about now.
Shame the birds weren’t closer but there you are, we never get given everything in laugh 😂😂
