If there was no blowby animations at the level 2k puts out then I would agree with you a little. But the issue is there IS blowby and push off stepback animations were all ppl who cant play or is afraid of competition do all the time. Is the most water down basteball you can play. And for people like me who knows the ins and outs when it comes to plays and diff sets, tempos, etc. ppl who play the game like a basketball game gets pissed because 2k rewards ppl who don't play it as a basketball game cus in all honesty you and everybody who plays it without the 5 out gets blown out...Now your Rockets comparison is a great one btw. Maybe 3 teams can play like that now imagine ALL the teams play like that. It'll kill the sport. The ratings will take a nose dive. If you listen to sports radio or follow basketball articles every sports analyst talks about it from time to time. Post players are already almost gone. Physicality of the game already dropped where you cant even sweat on another player.

Doesn't it make you miss the days of 2k16. When you had to play on ball and you could actually lock people up and if you user contested does they would almost always miss. I think it's the new game engine. Hopefully, next year this cheese is fixed. What's weird is, if you play play now online, it plays way more legit. You're not making contested 3s on there. I just don't understand why they don't use the same settings on such a crucially competitive mode that people put so much time, effort and, most of all, money into. Just so we can play online against 12yr old's that run 5 out, shoot 75% of their shots from 3, and play off ball 100% of the game. It feels like nfl blitz, if yall are old enough to remember it. In that game, no one ever got blown out. If you're up by 14, and have the ball, it's guaranteed you're going to throw a pick or fumble. 2k feels like they want to give every player a chance to win, regardless of skill. I believe they do this to keep shitty players interested so that they can sell more VC. Guys like us are going to play regardless, but fringe players that we would normally feast on and force to quit at the end of the 1st quarter are their targets. Players that we would normally discourage by blowing them out game after game, back when skill ruled, not luck, and cheese.
Cheese wouldn’t be a factor if 2k wasn’t a broke ass game, 2k allows kids like him to stay in the game until the last 2 minutes in the fourth quarter, in this case hate the game and not the player
