So some nerdiness regarding the F35 comment/vtuber: Much like the F16 is colloquially called "Viper," the F35 is colloquially called "Fat Amy" in the DoD. So her name Ami and her depiction as busty/thicc is clearly an injoke to this colloquial name. Likewise, she's the younger sister despite being um... much bigger as Mint pointed out -- after all the Hornet was designed in the 70s while Fat Amy was designed in the mid-2000s.

Been to the Hornet quite a few times, even lived on it for two weeks once. Good times. Really a different feel when you actually are there in person. People keep talking about the ship being haunted and no one believes it except this one Filippino guy that everyone I knew called Ray and this other guy I knew who we will call Senor B. They were with me for the two weeks stay with a few other people. They had an interesting story. They were walking through the below deck where there's this one hallway that goes from port to starboard next to the mess, and it was past midnight. When it's nighttime the overhead lights are turned off and then ankle-height red lights turn on. So the hallway is unlit except one red light in the middle of the hallway. Senor B and Ray were walking through the hallway in a straight line due to the compact hall size, Ray in front and Senor B in back. Senor B had seen Ray's face before entering the hall, nothing was up with it beyond his usual ugly mug. Partway through the hallway, they hear a knock from the aft of the ship and Ray stops. He says "Senor B, I felt something on my face." He turns to Senor B in the hallway, and Ray has a cut from his temple all the way down to his chin on the left side of his face and it's bleeding bad. They get out of the hallway and run to a bathroom, cleaning him up with toilet paper and some water. The whole next day the cut was there still, but the day after it was entirely gone. As if it never existed in the first place. I saw it the day after it happened, and I'm still a little skeptical.
Well yes, but in this case, it was a nuclear bomb fixed to a hardpoint on fighter jet that was attached to the USS Hornet. Not an ICBM. In the early Cold War, aircraft carriers like the Hornet and Intrepid had nuclear arsenals on board to enable the carrier strike group nuclear strike capabilities. It was, for the pilot(s), a literal suicide mission. They would fly as low and fast as possible to reach the target, to evade enemy air defenses, then begin a hard climb before dropping the nuke. It was expected the pilot(s) and aircraft would not survive the blast due to proximity. As the Cold War progressed and nuclear weapons evolved, these weapons were eventually phased out and replaced with the modern nuclear triad. As a fun fact, on the USS Intrepid, the nuclear weapons were stored directly across from the brig. Source: did a 3-month internship at the Intrepid Museum, reading and documenting interview transcripts from former Intrepid sailors from WW2 through the Space Race.
To be fair, ICBM is just the delivery method, an extremely long range missile. Slap some multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) on it, and you have an extremely long range missile with several independent payloads.
