We have a great Supreme Court- that shows exemplary sensitivity regarding contempt only when criticism is directly directed towards judges ( refer case regarding rtd justice Kanan ) but its precept and percept of contempt is marginalised in other cases- from prolonged hearing on delhi lt gov 's 'oblivion' regarding tree cutting to someone has left the country without passport- continuation of manual scavenging is just one more example of gradually emaciating importance of judicial observation
