I pray that the ODI format stays relevant. I know I’m in the minority but the history and magnitude it holds in the game can’t be denied. I think we can all agree it’s been an awesome WC with memorable moments. This WC should be the catalyst in the rebirth of 50 over cricket.

One of the best cricket podcast channels ,,being a cricket fan for so long ,not seen WI of 80 ,but seen Australia in late 90s and early 20s ,what a team it was when they bat it was flat deck ,when they ball it becomes bowling wicket ,,we used to name our village team Aussie X1 .why??
Cause we never lose.win% was about 95 ..true story😀

The changes to one day cricket....the best idea I have heard so far is playing innings. Bat 20-25 overs then have the other team bat. That way you are guaranteed actions and eliminates the lull between 20-40 overs where teams are just knocking it around

What happens in India affects the rest of us but I don’t think Australians are so in love with shorter forms of cricket or have too short of attention spans or have to get home half way through a game to watch it on tv. Cricket needs to fight for its integrity.

That question about "Shubham Gill getting a ton on a wet night at Yorkshire" was a reference to "Messi being asked whether he could score on a cold wet night in Stokes city". Its more of a sarcasm. Ravi of course wouldn't know it so he took the question literally and went on explaining about how good Shubman is .

Great show, really enjoy listening. I think the ODI format needs to go back to one white ball allowing the bowlers a chance to reverse swing the ball at the back end of the game. It's becoming to dominated by the bat. Thoughts?
