I have been listening to Prateek for some time now. But probably a month ago, on this one particular evening, while I was listening to this live version (not a first time though) while I was cooking dinner in the kitchen, I set the volume in the speaker to the loudest possible, I effing cried. I couldn't stop my tears. My tears were like water coming down from the waterfall, even I didn't have any idea, how much suffering and pain I was going through. At that moment, crying felt the most right thing to do, like my every inch of my body parts knew how what they wanted and how they wanted to let go of this pain. Particularly, when 'Cold/Mess' song came up at 30:00, I broke down, I was worried that my brother on next door would come up and see me being vulnerable, so I went to my room and brought up handkerchief, and wiped my tears. Ever since that day, everything about 'Cold/Mess' feels so true to me, an absolute truth that never can be made false. The live ambience is soooo great, the lyrics itself is to the point, every instrument that plays has it's own thing to speak, has it's own story to tell. And also hats off to the light engineer, so beautifully pulled up at every moment. Also never to forget every band members.
Time and again I listen to this live when I don't feel enough in my life and when I feel that nobody will understand me but yes the music will. To be honest I don't feel same while I listen to this every time, but I know that this is a very precious thing and I have to keep on loving this. No matter how much good I will feel, I'll always love this, there's no denying that. But I want to love every piece of this live even when I feel I've had enough.
Live in Mumbai and every compositions to me are love, and I want to love them enough both during times when I think I don't have enough of this and also during the times when I think I don't want to listen to this anymore.

could 100% relate to you, amidst everything going on in the world now, its 2:05 am and i thought i was the only one to break down and cry this way while watching this live. listened to these songs almost more than 10 times but watching this live specially the kho gaya part made me cry and as i type this i still have tears in my eyes. idk whats wrong and why im crying, mostly because we are all so confused and there's so much out there in the world going on we dont know how to react to, i wish we all come out of this mess very soon

I had Just plugged in Earphones with this one & was about to sleep. I slept but I think I was there completely awake in Prateek's Imaginative world subconsciously. Had a sleep & soothing therapy to ear at the same time.

First heard Prateek through his song Cold/Mess. He is a beautifully simple yet emotionally evocative songwriter that reminds me a lot of Simon and Garfunkel, Elliot Smith and Belle and Sebastian with his own unique Indian twist :)
