I've probably watched this video like 20 times... and each time I come back to it, I am still so impressed! I think if more pop music sounded like this - I would probably listen to the radio more often! Very tasteful and appropriate drumming! It makes my heart happy!

Thank you Kendra :-) The mics that we used are Shure SM57's on the snares, a Shure BETA 91 and Yamaha Subkick on the Kick, and then Samson drumkit mics on the toms. The Samson ones are just the mics you get in a Samson Drumkit Microphone pack. I think they called "Q-tom"s. If you get nicer mics for the snare and kick then the toms don't have to be such expensive ones. Shure SM 57s and the BETA 91 are winners for snare and kick. Also the overhead mics are AKG C414s. Hope that helps :-)
