When David Silveria left, I was imagining...Joey could be awesome in Korn. It was just for a short time, but I saw him with Korn in 2007 in Prague. Incredible performance, especially intro of Here To Stay.
Joey filling in for Lars was ridiculous. He killed it. So did Dave Lombardo for both just jumping in on a whim. Joey was Korns drummer in between their drummers. Korn is amazing live! Seen em like 4x but never with Joey but multiple Slipknot concerts with him. RIP JOEY
@@sixate it’s not open lol. The strip is so different now than it was. They completely re did it. I was chillin down there last weekend. Nothing about it is the same
@@sixate That must have been AMAZING! I love both of those bands and I still think a Korn/311 tour needs to happen again! I have seen Korn live twice, I saw them last year with Helmet and Evanescence and it was amazing. Page from Helmet still delivered an amazing set even in his 60s!
@Colby Fulton Drums You have GOT to go see them live! Unfortunately, I didn't see them live until 2021, but I have now seen them live twice and the energy in the air before KoRn goes on stage is crazy. Moments before they hit the stage the lights all went down at the amphitheater I was at and the reaction from the crowd was priceless. That crowd knew exactly what they were in store for and KoRn definitely delivered. You could just tell during Helmet and Evanescence's set that the crowd was having a good time but it was obvious that pretty much everyone was just waiting for KoRn to hit the stage. I have seen some BIG bands like Pantera, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Rob Zombie, and Staind but I don't think I have ever seen a crowd react with so much energy and passion like I did when I saw KoRn.
I had the chance to meet Joey Jordison in 2009 in Strasbourg in France, he was performing with Korn on this tour, a magical moment, We had the chance to chat for 30 minutes.
Joey man, what a drummer. I miss him so much 😢. Have you seen Slipknot the heretic anthem live in london 2002 drum cam ? It's a banger of a performance. Great video bro ❤
I remember something about The Korn guys saying that they had to remind Joey every night to play slow and powerfull since he wanted to go fast all the time.
Fun fact Wednesday was supposed to be the lead singer of slipknot until cory Taylor swooped in😅 Wednesday wrote some of the songs on subliminal verses 1
@@FlyboyHelosim yeah people dont talk about it because Slipknot is great just the way it is More than great really they were on the cover of hit parader every month for like four years they are so damn famous that they try not to talk about how they got started
@@FlyboyHelosim but joey knows the truth. Him and Wednesday are like best friends. Needless to say i dont think Wednesday and cory like each other. Cory took everything that Wednesday almost had. I would be pissed too honestly but i still think cory is a better fit for slipknot. They made the right decision imo.
Top 10 drummer for sure …Jay Weinberg is right behind him …..Bonham is maybe the best ever but these guys today are insane ..Rip Joey he was fantastic ..
Joey was probably top 5 best of all time imo.
🤘🏻🤘🏻

My first concert was Korn opening up for 311 at Metropol in Pittsburgh PA, what a great show, I was 19. Saw Korn 3 more times.
Down in the strip? Wow that was a long time ago
@craftgarrett1 Yep, don't even know if that place is still open. I'm 46 now so haven't gone down there in a loooong time. That show was back in 96.

Joey had the impact in such a short time that 99.999% of musicians will never have in a whole life time ❤️
Joey will always definitely be one of the top 5 drummers of all time!
Korn is my favorite band! Saw them last in 2020...amazing live !
Nice!
I saw them last year with Helmet and Evanescence as support acts was amazing!!

Bleed by Meshugga
Love Joey, I just don’t love the sped up version of this song. It was right with the tempo it was written in, just my opinion
Joe 😢
Best drum is not Joey sorry he was a good drummer but Danny carry is way better
