There's a new update that aims to fix some of these problems that cropped up. As a precaution if you play on other systems be sure to update the game on those systems as well.
Can't wait to check out NMS after I finished the PSVR2 demos in my library. Playstation should really keep pushing VR(2) and VR games, it's such a blast being inside a HD 3D game world. I think many of the haters of the PSVR2 have never even seen one irl let alone tried it out. Sure, it's not perfect, my biggest issue being that it's wired, but it's so much fun. And the screen door effect some of the haters keep whining on about is only slightly noticeable if I intentionally (!) focus my eyes on it not when I focus on the actual game. And with the lenses adjusted correctly the sweet spot is sharp in both eyes. There's so much pointless negativity online these days.
@ i just got it in transferring data from my ps5 while awaiting my disk drive to be delivered then its NMS time because of course that is one of the crew games i have physically lol!
Awesome! I just played the demo of Star Wars Tales from the galaxy's edge on my Pro and had a lot of fun shooting with the blasters. It looks great. Played for around 2 hours in teleportation mode and had zero motion sickness while I can't play Kayak VR for a few minutes. Enjoy your Pro and VR2!
Cool stuff , I guess I'll never get to enjoy it all as I don't enjoy the campaign nor the grinding crafting gameplay. I do enjoy jumping in for a look around 🤘🏻
Is the new lighting system also present in VR? Cause in flat mode that shit looks insane. Looks like a completely different game in flat mode. Though I imagine that would be too taxing for VR.
I'm just desperate for a stereoscopic mode. Standard controller and controls, with full 3D benefits of VR and head/ camera movement. Desperate for this!!!
A couple weeks ago I had it literally tank to single digit FPS while I was trying to land. Never experienced anything like that in VR, it was headache inducing. Also I’d like to see analogs to fly the ship, motion controls feel highly inaccurate for flying or driving.
I thought the aliasing was worse than I last played. The world is basically always shimmering in the headset, but I could be just misremembering because I know it was pretty noticeable before
I've only played a couple hours or so and his game is crazy. It's a bit daunting how large it is and often feels like I'm just wandering around waiting for the next storm event or something.
I love NMS but if it's not broken, don't fix it. NMS has suffered on flat screen too, again. The PS5 is not as sharp anymore. After an update few years ago, the PS4 had to be downgraded because of running issues.
To be honest without!! This new update is so much cleaner!!! Then before! Maybe you are blind.. but i really fuc..ing see sooo much big improvement! Iam shocked mate! Wow what a hugee difference! My eyes see it so much cleaner! More stuff on it!! More plants ect ect!! Day and night! Unbelievable! What you complaining about?😂😂😂

@PsychonauticExplorer I deleted the game over a year ago as I lost interest . This might make me want to reinstall it once they patch the bugs .
It seems that a patch has come.
we will revisit it soon then!
I had these exact issues, they made me sick and I had to stop. I hope they fix it because it does look beautiful
I get my ps5pro snd disk drive today so this will be the first game i try out
💪🏼 ps5pro
Yes this game should rock on that system given what I've read about its performance there

Strange I had no issues.

it’s better than it was for sure, especially with how light reflects indoors - however it’s not as good as flat screen for sure
Me personally, id love some pvp elements.
Outlaw systems could use this feature
Is the draw distance still blurry on the og ps5?
Did it fix the frame rate lag when approaching a space station a ND debris and little lights affect the fame play I've been getting that
C'mon jammy! Time to get a pro mate.

It's not Gona happen fella ps5 can't even play 3d games
Remember that the VR version is free!!!
Can you do a video on the arken age patches .
will do :)
I had all the issues you presented
Jammy, thank you for posting.
The update looks great, I am sure it will be patched quickly, time to jump in again

I am a savage and have been playing it in vr anyways 😅

Wish they would stop support for PS4...
@musicimpact7120 I know that their intentions were good, but bringing NMS to the Switch brought pain and suffering too.

It was broken since Worlds part 1 and i disagree most of the problems were not fixed especially the cloud wobble
Was going to dust off the old PSVR2 for this, guess it will remain dusty for the time being
