This is a beautiful turntable, and the Ortofon 2M Blue truly shines here with detail and stereo separation unlike some other videos of yours. I'm not sure what the issue was with those, either the records, the cartridge or the setup, but this one sounds great 😀

Thanks for the comment and I appreciate your opinion. Some of the earlier videos may have been "less well made" by me as I was still learning how to record the audio from the vintage equipment to a digital format as best I could. I am still learning... but I can see my improvements along the way. Peace.

@@tachikaze7 that's a beautiful statement. In this world of vinyl reproduction we never stop learning, and it's a great journey 😃

Looks beautiful. I just had the exact t.t. delivered today. I'm at work and can't wait to see it. What is that red spindle thingy in the middle of the platter? Does that help with older albums that are warped? Where can I get one? Thanks

The RP-3000 is an exceptional turntable. With its DIN output option it is unique. If you are interested in getting the absolute best sound quality out this beauty, I would strongly recommend the DIN to RCA cable (can be found on Amazon).
The red "spindle" is a record weight. A good one will be fairly heavy. I would not say that it flatten old, warped records... as there is not much that can remedy that unfortunate problem, but it does aid in bringing solidarity to the platter and record and reduce unwanted vibrations.
I am happy for you! Enjoy your "new" turntable. Peace.

Back in 1978 I bought the 'lesser' RP1500. The arm on your deck looks very similar, but with some kind of adjustable base?

Is it a wood screw that attaches the bottom feet? ..beautiful table

Hey, Bill. Thanks for the comment. I really do not recall if it is a wood screw... I do not have this Rotel turntable anymore. But that is a good question. I want to say the feet are bolted on, not screwed. But, really I do not remember. Sorry. Peace.

Could be. I think there are a few "shared" platforms from a central manufacturer of these Japanese models. Thanks for the comment. Peace.
