    UPDATE: I have found AN EVEN BETTER routine for my hair to get the curls to last and to not be frizzy and it only involves 2 PRODUCTS!! It has been the biggest game changer and my curls last 5 days +

    This is the best tutorial I’ve seen that addresses how to combat the frizz and prolong the curl. I had to learn on my own that I needed to smooth my roots FIRST with smoothing brush BEFORE I curled my hair. Great tips, thank you!

    Can't explain how much I needed this video. I haaaate my Dyson and am so irritated that I bought it cause the curls last literally 10 minutessss. I am so excited to try your tips and tricks. Thank-you!!!

    I am so glad you addressed the frizz problems, just using the drying tools makes my hair go frizzy, I have given up on this ridiculously priced pain in the ass & gone back to my babyliss dryer & rotating brush.

    Thanks so much for your tutorial! It was So much needed for my daughters hair. Her hair is very thick, very straight hair. I spent 2 hours trying to curl her hair and no sooner was I finishing one side of her head that I would have to start all over again because the curls kept falling all out!! Your tutorial was really great. ☆♡ *****

    Your the first person that I have seen use the dyson air wrap correctly. I love that you pinned up your curls when you where done. Your hair looks beautiful.... I love how the curls looked when you took them out..... I would personally leave them that way...
    Your hair turned out really amazing. When I curl my hair I use herbal essence spray gel hold 3 because I have extremely thick hair and I want my curls to last until I wash my hair again

    Finally someone with straight hair but also frizzy like my hair. I tried CGM because they said every frizz is a curl but my hair have barely any waves even after applying gel + mousse. It is just straight but lots of frizzy baby hair.

    For anyone who suffers frizzy hair after drying you hair, I’d recommend Colour Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray. Not only will it prevent friz but it will help hold the style longer. Plus it adds a ton of shine! It’s heat activated so it’s perfect to use with the Dyson Airwrap 👍🏽
    EDIT:
    I’m recommending this for people with all types of hair but especially those who have extremely fine hair. Oils, even just a little, may be too much for your hair to hold it’s style.

    I really LOVE the airwrap. I have very long straight hair and I shower at night. I got to a point where I wasn’t towel then blow drying my hair before bed and was sleeping on wet hair in a turban. I had soo much friz and breakage that I lost over 6 inches to my 4 foot hair.😢 The dyson has helped me be able to shower late and get straight to bed. I use the airwrap then put my hair in a silk bonnet and wake up with the most beautiful non-frizzy hair.
    It’s an expensive item and surely a privilege to be able to buy one but if you have a similar issue/situation.. you would understand the desperation to dry your hair as fast as you can to get to bed already😫.

    I am fortunate cos my curls do hold just as well with the Airwrap as they do with curling tongs. However I do hold the heat for longer than 10 seconds, I even have to with curling tongs tbh. Dyson website videos say hold the heat for at least 15 seconds so that may help curls last a bit longer? I love the smoothing brush too.. I love all the styles I can get, all on such low heat, 150C in comparison to 220C with my other tools🤩 I don't end up hot and sweaty after drying and styling it🤣

  • @jimmydebb3402

    The secret of mine to hold the curled hair is : DO NOT do anything of your curled hair until there's no heat on it. And try not to touch the curl as much as you can , the curl would stay perfect this way. Even curl hair from Hot Irons would drop so quickly by you guys' random touch or combing , just don't touch it if it's okay for u already, use the comb only if it definitely necessary

    Great tutorial. I just feel frustrated that after spending so much money, you have to go through the phaff of pinning the curls. I think that I would get on better with something else. I have hair extensions and I think that the curls don't last as well, but probably would on my natural hair x

  • @emmafinn5696

    I found this video very helpful but can’t help think, if you curl your hair then brush it, the curls are going to drop because you’ve brushed it? Maybe less brushing, damper hair and heat for longer would also help? I trained as a hairdresser 20 years ago so have a basic knowledge of old school hair styling. But I may be totally wrong... my airwrap arrives the end of the week... xx

    So I do the cold for,longer, as after 5 seconds it’s still not actually cold. So holding longer might help hold curl a bit better. But love the concentration at the top to tame the frizz!!!

    • @EbonyJaneNutrition

      Hi Julie! Tbh I find my curls do drop a lot after sleeping on them but I do find pining the curls while I sleep does work so I might use some hair grips to keep them in place but sometimes I can not be bothered - If I really want curls the next day I would have to re touch them xx

      Well in fact Airwrap IS easier when compared to the older technologies we have had for this hair style, such as drying and smoothing with round brush first then going in with the curlers. My long hair takes about an hour and the result is Hollywood hair! I know the price is super steep but I have never had my hair this pretty and I don't even have to leave my room for it!

    • @EbonyJaneNutrition
      @EbonyJaneNutrition  3 года назад +1

      @@aslhancanik5421 that is so great it worked for you I am so jealous!! I think it is just a tool which really does not fit everyone some people live their best hair life and some people's hair is just not compatible. I remember ringing the Dyson store and she confirmed to me that some peoples hair just does not work with it even with strong holding products 🙈I am not giving up on it though still hoping I come across a miracle product so I can live my hollywood hair life too! xx

    • @mikamamma
      @mikamamma 3 года назад +3

      @@aslhancanik5421 if I’m going to spend all that time with the Air Wrap, to then have to pin up all the curls anyway, I’d rather just use my $5 Velcro curlers on my 80-90% AIR-dried hair, saving me time, work AND $500 and achieve the same “Hollywood hair”. Not to mention, while the Dyson prides itself on its “less” damaging claim, it’s still damaging, nonetheless, whereas with the $5 Velcro rollers there is no damage whatsoever. It’s a win, win...WIN! Plenty of vids up here on RUclips on how to get that supermodel-hair look, using just the Velcro rollers. You should give it a try ;)
