Russia has used fake news and sabotage against Western nations for years - a term they call Active Measures, but it doesn’t stop there. In Ukraine we have seen the Russians employ many techniques that are not seen in conventional war.
In this episode of Faceless Threats, Ben Cook, former Royal Marines Commando, explores the concept of a Cyber-apocalypse, speaking with leading experts to get to the bottom of what’s called ‘Grey zone’ warfare. He explores the four main types of cyber-war - espionage, disinformation and propaganda, economic disruption, and sabotage - and how an adversary could target the UK with these types of war.
