I loved the process, it looks amazing. I'm absolutely not an expert about working with leather but I think that an improvement could be a smooth lining of the side in contact with skin just where it would create some friction with the back of your neck. During long walks cameras tend to swing around your neck and leather straps can cause some irritation. Keep it going, this channel is definitely underrated
Thanks for the message. Indeed lining the piece would be a great next step and would definitely help keep this strap going for much longer! That being said, the backside of the leather I chose is very soft so it's already quite comfortable, and adding the piece of fabric could mean a LOT of stitching by hand if you don't have a machine - and this would make the project considerably more daunting to make. That being said, when I do eventually get a sewing machine I'll probably do more straps like this but with an added liner :)

You've done it again. Unique video and awesome results. Keep it going!
Thank you so much Keith for your kind words :)
Wow that’s some cool hardware!!!
I'm loving it! It's really useful especially if juggling between several cameras.
Awesome video man!
Thank you Martin :)
Tokonole with help burnish chrome tan takes a bit of work but it does do the job.
How wide is that leather strap
Amazing works I’m tempted to try.. where I can find a ready strip of leather?
Thank you! There are tons of choices on Etsy, just make sure you're getting vegetable tanned leather at least 1,4mm thick.
Where do you buy plain leather straps like that? Or did you cut it yourself?
where did you buy the leather in first place?
I get most my leather from Decocuir.fr here in France :)
Please don't use hot creaser in cutting mat... Use Marble slab or Toughened Glass
A kilo sounds like so little, but a pound on the other hand, lol.
