I have a theory that the cymatic patterns you see in water more or less reflect the effect their respective frequencies have on the human body (which is made mostly of water) and mind (which is *like* water). I'd bet you don't even need the imagery to be shown; it could be enough just to use it to see the visual component of a given sound, then play the sound to the person in question. But I'd bet the imagery to go with the sound would make it even better.
When i studied Botany, i used to study plant dissection under microscope. Often the cross section after dying with inks used to look like this. I wonder if any relationship. Many cross sections were so perfect symmetrical.🤑😊❤️ as if someone arranged it deliberately.
This plays right along with ideas I have long held to be true, but without the visual evidence and explanation, have been very difficult to convey. The energy sent from the instruments to the water, the result of which we can see in the video, is critical to the understanding of our physical being and how we have been designed (we are mostly water) to interact with the world around us at the deepest level, specifically regarding physical/emotional responses to music/sound. Every given form or shape can be generated out of a mix of frequencies, which basically is the sum of a basic function/ frequency pattern plus added on top the product, built out of the said basic function, multiplied by a whole (integer) number, like 2, 3, 4, ... to n! The basis or mathematical principle is the summed up series of added sinusoidal (sine)- and (cosine)- waves! This mathematical principle is called the Fast Fourier Transformation FFT, invented by the French mathematician Fourier. Every form can be generated by adding up varying frequency components. This is called signal synthesis. The opposite way is called signal analysis, which basically reveals, what sort of basic frequency components the given shape contains! ... Life in all its forms and appearances basically is a mix of frequencies.

An interesting point Nicholas. I did some preliminary experiments with multiple frequencies some time ago but have yet to get round to pursuing them. From the little I found out with two tones, the pattern of the higher frequency generally predominated although there were instances when a distinct pattern emerged - an amalgam of the two separate patterns. If you get round to exploring further let me know.

Interesting. Do a google image search for "snowflake crystals" and you'll see a lot of similar geometry. I'm not sure if there is any relation between sound and snowflakes, but it's an interesting coincidence if nothing else.
