    I wonder how much truly critics there are. You guys should be siting in the jury next Nielsen competition! Also, can't wait for your records of Mozart and Nielsen concertos! Wilfried, Adam, Konstantinos, Vitalli! So much professional clarinetists nobody know about!

      Now it is absolutely obvious that the winner must be different. Otherwise, my young friend, you wouldn't be so tense. I have old recordings... but I'm sorry, l need to look for them... I 'll share them on occasion... but that was back in 1999... by the way, with great pleasure I'm ready to perform both on the jury and personally Mozart in an excellent European hall... unless, of course, you can help me organize an orchestra accompaniment.
      By the way, I continue to practice the clarinet despite the war. And now my Mozart is much better than ever.

      I personally felt none of them were dark enough. I liked Panagiotis Giannakas's sound because he came closest, but none are as wonderfully dark as Christopher Pell imo.

    Shame on the judges who didn't see the obvious. There is such an opinion - the winners are not judged... really, all participants of the final demonstrated a very difficult program. Respect for all... but let me know what the distinguished jury was done ? Where were they looking ?
    Personally, my opinion is that Mozart cannot be rudely and forcefully. There were too many small accidents and mistakes in Nielsen concerto. Therefore, I want to arrange all the finalists in the following order :
    Winner - 1st place Panagiotis Giannakas,
    2nd place Ann Lepage
    3rd place Oleg Sherbeta - Dragan

      @@jingzheli1537 I'll try to explain. Each teacher has some kind of connection in the music world, prepares students for himself, makes a name for himself. I think the result was known in advance. And politics with the war in Ukraine has nothing to do with it. Dishonest refereeing. We all know who the real winner is. Just, if Panagiotis Giannakas studied in Germany, he was a winner of this competition. And for all the jury of this competition, it's just a shame. I don’t know if an appeal is possible, but the victory was definitely stolen from the Greek.

    • @omaslo
      @omaslo 2 года назад +2

      Maybe, you can provide a record of your own playing where you perform Mozart concerto and then Nielsen in some of the major hall of the world while there is a war in your country. And don't get nervous, Mozart should be played without any force in sound!!!

      @@omasloMy young friend. I'm well versed in Mozart. I performed it brilliantly even before you were born. I just shared my opinion about Mozart, and oddly enough, here many saw the winner of another... this often happens at competitions...
      Just unfair refereeing... I only spoke for Mozart... because I never liked the Nielsen concerto. But you can listen to the finale again and again and make sure that there were mistakes in Nielsen.
      For God's sake, take care of yourself and your nerves... don't worry so much... the competition is long over. But terrible refereeing, unfortunately, will remain so.

    To play Mozart Concerto at the very best consistent sound sonority should be sustained throughout full range from start to finish.
