I liked it how u explained. But i would be glad if u make one video about this topic but in ps5 platform. I am having some problem. I am streaming in 720p 60fps in ps5 and my upload and download speed is is 25min and max 40. So when i stream i still see some blur when i run and some weird kind of things.
Interesting behaviour Mr. Skytis! So you suggest to use 720p instead of 1080 because of accessibility. You didn’t told it straightforward but I think that you implied it. If you know what I am talking…🙂
Depends on what kind of accessibility we're talking about, but probably not. It's better because you generally don't have access to a bitrate higher than 6000 as a streamer on Twitch. And in your specific case (a very fast-paced FPS) even 6000 isn't enough to keep the stream looking crisp. Better to have a smaller cropfield with nice crops than a big field of dead plants. It seems counter-intuitive because most sites/services simplify it to "higher resolution = better" but that doesn't hold true if the bitrate is the same across those resolutions. If we're talking about accessibility for other people to watch, then the resolution once again does not matter. It's all about the bitrate. Higher bitrate = people need faster internet to watch. 6000 bitrate means a stream of 6000Kbit/s. So a viewer needs 6000Kbit/s of download speed to watch. Well, technically a little more because your computer is probably also doing other internet things in the background, so you probably need 8000Kbit/s (=8Mbit/s = 1MByte/s) to watch such a stream without buffering. But if the stream has transcoding (=quality/resolution settings), you can watch it in a lower resolution which then also has a lower bitrate.
@@Skyytis so even viewer needs higher Internet speed. If I am streaming in 720p with 20000 Kbits/sec. then viewer will need to have more than 20Mbits connection. This sucks. But I’ll try to stream at more than 20000Kbits/sec and see if it works.

Bitrate doesn't refer to your internet speed, it is merely limited by that. Also just don't stream directly from a console, terrible idea
