Is this available for ONLY PHONES? I want to use it on my desktop. I have a paid-for google photos account. I don't see any of those editing tools.
Yes, it is only on the mobile app right now. Other mobile-only tools are coming to the web, so maybe ...

I don't have these new magic tools, Why ?? i have a subscription of 100 Go google clouds drive storage and the lastest version of google photo installed on my samsung galaxy phone ! I live in france.
Are you perhaps on a G Suite account? Those accounts don't have the features. I'm not sure why.

Are you kidding me? You have a big advertising splash demonstrating this super cool pixel capability, "magic eraser", never mentioning that you need a subscription in order to use it, and you only find that
out after you've bought the device and need to use it!!!! This is even worse than blanketing every aspect of the phone with advertisements! I should have bought a Motorola!
Please re-watch the video (the link below will take you straight to the right place) and notice that the bullet list includes "Must be a paid subscriber to Google One" and I reiterat that point as I start talking. btw you flatter me that you think I am google with a huge advertising budget! As of June 2024, you no longer need a Google One Subscription for Magic Eraser to work.
