Webinar marking International Transgender Day of Visibility | Law for Community Workers Webinar

31st March 2023 was the International Transgender Day of Visibility dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people.
In this webinar our presenters from Anti-Discrimination NSW and The Gender Centre discuss legal issues experienced by transgender people. Claire Williams from Anti-Discrimination NSW discusses anti-discrimination law in NSW and the process for clients to make a complaint of discrimination. Eloise Brook from The Gender Centre talks more broadly about legal issues experienced by transgender people. Our presenters suggest how community workers can support transgender clients experiencing legal issues. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the webinar.
