- I can say in all honesty that this piece is even harder than it looks. Would I say this is the most technically demanding piece I've ever played? Probably... Will I try to find an even more difficult piece to learn and record in the upcoming future? Also probably :D (SUBSCRIBE so you don't miss out)

Because the original ain't hard enough... Super insane and underrated!
Thanks!! I like a challenge :)
Try hammerklievern next
You're the first to play a chopin-godowsky etude with a visualizer. What's next, a full piano concerto?
Maybe...🤔🤔 Which one would you like to hear?
@@SLDDPiano Wow what an honor! Honestly it'd be hard for me to choose. Maybe a chopin concerto, maybe Rach 2 or 3, but these are a little overplayed. If I had to really narrow it down I might like something a little less played like the Grieg piano concerto, the Moszkowski piano concerto or Rach 1(1st movement is criminally underrated).
Someone already Played Godowsky study 36 quite a while ago but this is definitely new.
Liszt piano concerto
Xaver Scharwenka Piano concerto no 1 would be super awesome!
as someone who has spent 5 months trying to learn the original 10-2 and still can't even get to 50% speed, this is just amazing to me.
Whoa... HELLO THERE!
holy crap youre insane
I have been practicing that for about 5 months too, got to 75% speed but every time I play it it kills my hands XD
Actually this is _easier_ than the original in terms of the finger strengths and stuff, it's just extremely confusing and complicated
Also, I have criticism for your "12 Levels of Beethoven" video. Firstly, keep the tempo consistent (Referring to Hammerklavier). If you can't play fast, then either practice or slow everything down. Second, don't use too much pedal in Waldstein. Waldstein is meant to be luminous and playful, and adding too much pedal just ruins it.
Chopin etudes: exist
Godowsky: *hippity hoppity your etudes are now my property*
This etude is truly a masterpiece. Well played.
Wtffffffff why you have only 1,8k sub you deserve much more!!!!!
This man played an even harder version of some of the advanced af Chopin pieces on a synthesizer and somehow only get a few thousand views
Wow, awesome job! This is one of my favorite of the Godowsky transcriptions, and your version stands up to comparison with the famous names.
Thank you!!
Reding description and seeing Even Harder Than It Looks made me look if I just finished eating a full lemon with zest... Nice. Sounds good, even on the obvious e-piano
Lets see some more chopin-godowsky etudes
That's pretty impressive... Thank you for sharing...
Absolutley Great!
What an honor, from the master himself LOL
This is amazing and I love it. Keep up the good work.
So gracious, simply amazing performance. Keep at it
Thank you :)
Wow. This is the hardest piece I've ever tried - immediately said, "no way!" - the coordination alone is a nightmare. Damn! Gonna see if you've played Liszt's transcription of Beethoven's 9th. :D
A tiny tiny part of it LOL
okay this is super insane!
impressive, but could you play hamelin's triple etude?
I could, but will I??
@@SLDDPiano if you can actually play it, please do! I'll even mildly sponsor it :D
@@pianocontortions7038 hey I know your channel, you're insane! You could probably play it yourself :) I might learn it when I'm less busy :D
@@SLDDPiano I actually tried a number of years ago, but my left hand was in serious pain from the stretching within a few minutes :( It would have been a huge amount of work because I never learned winter wind either.
@@pianocontortions7038 Well then I guess it's all in my hands now, I'll get it done hopefully maybe by the summer LOL
The Chopin etude which is famously one of if not the hardest if the set was apparently not hard enough for this composer!?
godowsky's studies on chopin etudes are like the buffed up version of the original etudes
Dude wtf, what a beast!
GReat rendition - Looking forward to next videos. Keep the work up =)
hot
Me: lol although I am not really good at playing piano, but I can still play Chopin Chromatic Etude
After watching this video:
Me: wth is this, may I ask?
Jesus
I have played Liszts Spanish Fantasy, but even i dont want to try this. Its so complicated.
Woah... This is insane. Your incredible! You really don't see this everyday. Can you do op 10 no 1 godowsky?
I don't really like it that much musically :/ but I might do 10 6 or 25 9/10 5 at some point.
@@SLDDPiano oh ok cool I can't wait!
epic
That is scary 😧
You actually did it!! Holy shit!
Of course I did ;) you thought I was bluffing? LOL
ok but can you play hamelin triple etude
how are you able to show your hands fully for these videos?
anarchy here

Very cool, but can you please again do some movie music , for example more lord of the rings or Pirates of the carribean!😉
I've already done LOTR ;) but yes probably more soundtrack coming up
I have two questions , are you happy to have played this nonsense ? Was it enjoyable to learn ?
Very enjoyable
But do you think that it's musically interesting or even beautiful ?
@@Thomas_RuizI mean it is a study, so it’s not necessarily meant to be super musically enjoyable, but I don’t think it’s fair to call nonsense. There’s clearly a lot of thought put into the arrangement and harmonies, different voices and melodies, etc. by Godowsky, and it can certainly be enjoyable to at least admire that.
Oh my god am I dreaming?
Possibly 🤔
Wut....
Yeah because 10 2 was too easy...
For every 5 views there is a comment.
RUclips algorithm, notice me!
Eh not that impressive, play a 100 on the Ro scale then get back to me
Hot cross buns?
@@SLDDPiano That's pushing it
This guy is a piano god, is he a concert pianist or something? This is unbelievable this is easily in the top 3 most difficult Chopin Godowsky studies.
Badinage and left-hand 25 6 next? 😁
@@SLDDPiano No way dude, you're insane. I already have mad respect for you with this recording alone.
@@sigmaballz1469 you're right, I should probably start learning rach 3 ossia instead...
@@SLDDPiano Geez lmao I would say good luck but you don't need it honestly.
He’s studying at a conservatory :)
Is there a single Godowsky etude worth learning considering the difficulty involved? I doubt it.
@Pencu lmao, bullshit. Not even Hamelin adequately learned each one.
All of them
@@composerjalen lol, no
Wow so you can upload some prokofiev sonatas?
Maybe...Someday...It's not impossible
Holy moly! I'm impressed how you seem to be able to relax your hands even when playing such intricate pieces.
That way incredible! Great playing! Also I believe you might be the first person to do a Chopin-Godowsky etude with a visualizer.
I subscibed!
Am I? 🤔
Well done!!
I could only ever play his left hand alone transcription of this etude. Very impressive
Me: plays in 4/4 rhythm
This man: we don't do that here!
absolutely amazing the agility you have!!!!!👏👏👏
Thanks!!
I glad to find your channel! :)
Damn👀👀 Rach 2 when
After Rach 3
@@SLDDPiano BAHAHAHAHAH
