Precious sister, nowhere in scripture are we told to use a technique or to teach how to access the spirit realm. Johns invitation was for a very special purpose to reveal to the Church chiseled in stone events on God's calendar, and it likely is a metaphor for the rapture of the Church. I'm not a cessationist but we can't extrapolate that this is an open invitation for us all. Teaching how to access the spirit realm and partner with angels is not in the Word but it is in the occult.
