💥 There are fans who love this move, while others don't. Some fans consider Cody Rhodes' Cross Rhodes finisher weak because it often requires multiple attempts to secure a win. 💡 Outside of WWE, the move was made popular by Christopher Daniels, Chris Hero, and Reno. 💡* Cody Rhodes since *2009*
@@SpencerMiller574 that was his second “Rolling Cutter”. Santino used the Rolling Cutter I think once, then he switched to using an Armtrap Whiplash, which the commentator dubbed as “Rolling Cutter”
I refuse to call the crossroads and the bad apple the same move. They’re both variations of a rolling cutter, but the rotation, torque, and impact are opposite of each other. I actually prefer the Bad Apple/Rolling the Dice version more than the Crossroads version, personally.
Wrestling fact this move was first innovated by ECW wrestler Nova he called it spin doctor he also innovated white noise he used to call it the kryptonite crunch you may remember me him as Simon Dean during his short live run with the WWE he was also the debut opponent for a young Bobby lashley
I see these posts and I swear, the best moves I know are always talked down on. It's not the move, it's how it can be sold. That's why moves like the leg drop and a lot of submission moves looked boring. Bc it couldn't be sold.
the reversion is also used by tama tonga and ill be honest the reverse version is more pain ful since it can land intoa ddt or accidnetally twisting your neck..
I like Cody but seriously his finisher is ass mostly it depends on the seller now i am kot disrespecting the seller sometimes it looks like Cody got hurt more
I think Big Bill or Morrisey based as tribute to Test, they share the same finisher a Big Boot. Same hair, same long jeans pants, very tall each other. So, I believe Test revived!
I'm warming to it, but I've never been crazy about it. One of these times Cody ought to get in position for it and then turn it into a standing dragon sleeper (Biker Taker called it the "TCB" back in the day).
Okay when you're in wrestling getting hit with the cross roads is going to hurt you if he doesn't and like he lands on the neck of you you're cooked like you're literally hitting your face on like a wood
I like it because specifically with Cody it can be less or more impactful. A standard bump for a standard match or some stank on it if he needs to end a blood feud.

Finally someone mentioned Chris Hero ❤😊
Hero's Welcome 🔥
This move can look devastating if it is sold properly.
That creates the most issue. It has to be sold unfortunately unlike the powerbombs, drivers, and suplexes/slams.
Gable sold it awesomely. But that’s Gable, he’ll make everything look awesome
Every move looks bad if not sold properly
Like how gable did it
It looks fire
And Test stole it from WCW guy in 99-00 named Reno who had cool look and a pit boss kinda gimmick and he called it Roll of the Dice
Test and Cody Rhodes have the best versions 🔥
Funfact, Santino during his heel run while experimenting on finishers used the Rolling Cutter once.
I remember
@@zachariahdruckman123 which match was it
But the opponent was positioned like he was doing a DDT
@@SpencerMiller574 that was his second “Rolling Cutter”. Santino used the Rolling Cutter I think once, then he switched to using an Armtrap Whiplash, which the commentator dubbed as “Rolling Cutter”
Only Cody's haters dislike this finisher 😂
I hate that finisher.
@@elmaster6207 #crossrhodesforthewin
It just looks dumb
Finisher is ok. Just cody sux
@@agnesfunk6748 no he doesnt
Damian's version is actually really good and fits the way he presents himself (brutal but with some flamboyance)
I think it's a pretty cool move. I remember first seeing it in WCW by Reno
Yup, Roll of the Dice by Reno
Its more of a selling job. But I have seen it where it looks like your letting your opponent slam you. But no cap that reverse cross roads looks sick
It’s called weak because Cody rarely finishes a match with just one. He has to hit 3 -7 of them.
3-4
Test did it best.
Reno from WCW did this before anybody in WWE did it that's facts not fiction
the finisher is awesome
i don’t like how often it gets kicked out of but the move itself looks so damn cool
Love this move so much !

I think tama Tonga’s Tongan twist was a variation of the rolling cutter

Outward Variation is such jobber move sadly 😅

Yeah this finisher is sooo weak. Totally can’t break your neck 😅
That first one looks like a botch jesus.
No one tops Test in the execution of this move.
Crossrhodes
The one Luther Reigns did was underrated
:-)😊
So terrible that you need to hit it 3 times to win
Cody made it weak by having the multiple version
whole point of a finisher to hit it for the finish gets a little boring after the 2nd one anyway
Yea one time is enough
Cody was released in 2016 lil bro
Cody did it best
He did it the worst where it looks like he hurts himself more than his opponent.
@@TheSantachexactly my point
Jobber finisher

Test did it the best.
Cross Rhodes is the best!

I think weakest finisher for a top star should be Roman’s spear. I thought egde’s spear was worse but then came roman
Cody performs it differently now. Now, the opponent is spiked into the mat instead of slammed. It looks brutal
You’re forgetting Last Rites was a Rolling Cutter by Christopher Daniels
Okay when you're in wrestling getting hit with the cross roads is going to hurt you if he doesn't and like he lands on the neck of you you're cooked like you're literally hitting your face on like a wood
Only the Cody and Damian versions look weak. Test's version looked great.
nah i love cody and love the cross rhodes but they made his finisher so weak ko got hit with two then instantly recovered and hit a stunner
Dumb move. Just a different “Overdrive” to me. Dumb and overused.
I love that it only takes one wrestler to redeem a jobber finisher like the rolling cutter
Wasn’t drift away the swinging fisherman neckbreaker 🤔
Reckoning looks cool
how tf is this weak like I’ve never heard a better lie💀😭
While I know he didn't use it in wwe chris hero has the best one probably
It’s a good move, it is just not sold like it is devastating. too many kick outs
I've never understood the hate. I've never seen a terrible cross Rhodes.
It's not a weak finisher yall just hating
The sell on john and chad 😂😂😂😂
Damn Cody was a little snug with that on poor Chad 😂
I love Cross Rhodes, Test Drive and Reckoning.
Proof veer mahan should have been the one to dethrone roman reigns
This is the only thing I hate about Cody Rhodes
They tried to make it different by holding the arm😂😂
I like the cross Rhodes but the Cody cutter is better
Test had the best version .just look how fast he hit it
Cody finisher not weak uce
Veer Mahan lmao biggest jobber
Sorry the weakest finishers ever there’s a 4 way tie the AA, the Wasteland, the shell shock, and the spear done by Edge
Shelly shock is decent
Cody stuff look different so not the same
Wade Barrett finisher was wayyyyy weaker
If your finisher needs multiple attempts to finish your opponent . You need a new finisher
Cody should definitely stop doing that 3 in a row looks kinda ridiculous.
Someones gotta do a History lesson
I love the test version best it’s clean
TestDrive is the best version
So damm good finisher ❤
Chad landed right on his head
Adopted is crazy
Monumental
Movemental
Test did it the safest to me
WCW Renos dice roll
Forgot Mike Knox
so not creative
Worst move ever
Test did it best
Cody sucks
Elias's Drifts Away is actually Swinging Fisherman Suplex.
I like it because specifically with Cody it can be less or more impactful. A standard bump for a standard match or some stank on it if he needs to end a blood feud.
The test driver for whatever reason is so clean. Idk if it’s the fact he hooks them
With the arm while spending or what
Roman Reigns hates this move 😭
Damien made his on his own tho
Love those videos 😁
Bro this finishing move is devasting in the aew game
luther reigns roman reigns 💀💀💀
I don't think that's the weakest finisher, i can do that to you i swear
Naw Reno died that in wcw
