I truly think the International ARMYs is why MHJ and every other attack towards BTS have failed... No one from Korea can understand our stance. Most of us aren't kpop stans, we just stan BTS. We aren't born from that culture and we don't care about this "company" culture.
What we DO care; is BTS's blood, sweat & tears. WE believe ONLY BTS could have the power to build or dismantle the company THEY built, and we don't allow external forces do that.
No "public opinion" can sway our own opinion, and we never decide on something before researching on it enough to write a thesis.
I also see many K-fandoms try to act like we cannot understand things because we don't speak Korean.
PLEASE lol. Many of us DO speak Korean. And many of us DO have K-ARMYs as their CLOSE FRIENDS. We understand things very well. It is YOU that has no other card to play but the "language barrier". We aren't a few hundered people. We are MILLIONS.
Calling I-ARMYs "ignorant" is just them trying to ignore the fact that; they can NEVER sway I-ARMYs. K-Media also tried. that. They called LATAM "drunkards" just because they were defending Yoongi, they called French media and French fans "ignorant" and "intolerant".
This is just a dog barking with their tail between their legs. They can't fight back, so insulting is the only way they can keep their peace. That way, they can keep their little bubble and keep giggling on how right and great their side is while they're losing on the outside.
It is certainly funny how some fandoms keep calling ARMYs "BSH wives" when it isn't us, that make threads after threads to defend or praise a CEO or a producer.
If it were ARMY instead of Bunnies, and we had seen such disgusting messages about BTS from BSH or any other producer; ARMYs would have received an official apology or a resignition by day 2.
ARMYs don't allow ANYONE take too much credit for BTS's success. We have literally got such people fired from their position. We always say BTS can do anything and its the other people that need them. And it is so belittling how no other fandom thinks the same way for their faves. But I guess there is a reason for that.
The language barrier is a standard objection. It does not have to be valid, it is just a slogan that should end the conversation, according to them. It is just a slightly more civilized observation than "shut up because you are a shi**y foreigner."

Hello Hybe Boy for sharing this. I am an international Army and only just getting to know K-pop as a genre. Never heard of NJ or bunnies, and reading this just infuriates me. Why do they and MHJ want to destroy BTS and the house that they built? They are correct that we don’t know the cultural context, but we do know them! As Maya Angelou said, “when people show you who the are, believe them”. What K media, MHJ, NJ and the bunnies have shown through this whole episode is that something is rotten in Korea. I say this based on what they have said and done!!!They may look down on us, but our support of BTS has expanded to most things about Korea which has had a positive impact on their country’s economy! I was apprehensive about Army speaking on the MHJ issue, but after seeing the plan she was trying to implement, they acted with restraint. We trust BTS and knew what JK was saying. It’s sad those girls are so blinded by MHJ.
It needed to happen. For too long she has been lying about what people say and how everyone is on her side. And ARMYs are tired of the lies pushed by Kmedia. Them speaking out exposed them as liars and they needed to be exposed for it.
Too many people keep thinking that they can pretend to be ARMYs and send wreaths and make statements. All in Korean, and International ARMYs won't be aware of it. I-Armys have been side eyeing this so called K-ARMYs acting rogue and making claims of hate against HYBE, Suga, and support for MHJ. It ALL needed to be called out, at this point. They can not read either. HYBE never named anyone. So how are they pinning fandoms against each other? MHJs and her lawyers dragged ARMYs into this by naming them. She dragged groups and idols into this by naming them directly from her own mouth in tv. Her fans are not smart.
I think you will find that these commenters are not Bunnies but bots, that is hired social media commentators whose job it is to downplay locally the importance of international fans.
What the South Korean audience needs to grasp is the global audience is not to be insulting, but merely stating a fact, is where the REAL money comes into play; it was after all the international audience that first took BTS into their hearts that saw them out perform monetarily the other Kpop groups, that lead to the finances of the formation of HYBE, from BTS/BigHit.
Who in turn provided the start-up funds for Ador, and who invested in the training of New Jeans, it is HYBE using the revenue from the Global audience, who provided for New Jeans penthouse, & their $3 - 5 million dollar salaries. 방시혁과 BTS는 kpop전체의 성공을 원했습니다. 그래서 미국의 유명 레이블 처럼 한국에도 그런 플랫폼이 필요하다고 했죠. 위버스도 이 같은 취지였습니다. 취지와 다른 부정적 결과도 생기긴 하지만, 상생이 주요 목표였습니다. 하지만 이번 사건으로 좋은 취지들이 대기업의 문어발식 확장, 독점, 욕심 등으로 나쁜 프레임이 씌워졌습니다.
스엠 외 다른엔터들은 몇 십년 동안 본인 엔터계를 좌지우지 했지만 신경도 안쓰던 사람들이 플레이브, 피프티 2기 등을 돕는 하이브와, BTS RM처럼 인디, 언더 가수들과 꾸준히 협업하고 알리는 좋은 일들을 하는 사람들의 선의는 모른척 합니다. Kpop이 썩었다고 광역저격하는 그 분도 어도어가 아닌 kpop을 위해 뭘 했는지? 오히려 kpop을 부정적으로 인식하는 사람들만 늘었죠. 사람들은 언론이나 숏츠 등에서 보여주는 것을 그대로 믿습니다. 스스로 판단하는 법을 잊었죠. 하이브가 잘못된 결정을 할 때도 있겠지만 적어도 같이 좋은 쪽으로 나아가려는 방향성은 가지고 있기에 그런 목표조차 없는 곳들 보단 낫다고 생각합니다.
I think those "bunnies" who twisted ARMYs' hashtags against MHJ, who wrote nasty things in whatever platforms they could get into, are employees of that Public Opinion manipulator-for-hire agency. True Bunnies are music fans, who are normal people who would act like normal music fans.

What do they think they’re taking over if international fans leave? Like, they know most of K-pop including their faves would be making a fraction of what they are if international fans pulled out, right? BTS would not be out in the world representing Korean culture and pulling in tourist money and creating huge numbers of jobs without international fans. Do they understand how many people would lose their jobs? It seems a lot of international fans understand Korean laws better than they do based on these comments, tbh. Not just the law though, their economy. Why do so many Koreans want to destroy the one thing that’s propping up a decent sized chunk of the whole nation’s economy? It’s so weird. Like cool, we can go but then what do you have?
I think its the toxic parasocial relationship these k-fans have had with the groups since ages ago coming into play here. They believe they were the ones there to support these groups when they were no-name groups so the groups owe them that, its like they feel they have dibs over the group bc they came before international fans. There is also that the k-fans end up being the ones there physically for most of the things like music shows, award shows, etc so they think they do more for the group than the international fans. Yes, the k-fans do play an important role in helping a group take off especially back around gen 3 times it was definitely the case. But now the winds are changing the award shows allow international voting, the music shows allow international voting and they are even going to consider world sales chart now from what I heard recently. The K-fans (some of them) definitely feel their groups owe them for the group's success. It translates into them being overly critical of the celeb's personal/dating/romantic life and their life choices like smoking, etc. They are okay with their celebs going on shows that have them drinking on camera but God forbid they see a paparazzi shot of their celeb smoking, the fans bash the celeb forcing out apologies. Same for marriage and romantic relationships, how many times have they forced people to apologise for something as normal as dating someone or marrying someone? And know that these people often end up being the noisy bunch 8n their fandom. Although international fans aren't saints either, the recent JK IG post incident gives you an indication of it. Neither parties are free of guilt, but you have to agree international fans atleast treat them like people and do not idolize them to that extent. And K-fans feel a sense of entitlement towards the groups. Its like even if the celebs go global, don't forget they are Koreans and they belong to us attitude in k-fans. Ofc, its just a bunch of them and not the entire k-fandom of any group. Tokkis however, are an entirely different breed whether korean of international or may be that is the image the master manipulator wants to spread.
I genuinely think that SK don't like the treasure they have and they want to destroy that treasure by their own hands which I seriously don't know why anyone do that. I really wonder sometimes that if BTS wants to live in another country, they would be treated way better than their own country. I never see anywhere where a world renowned group of Artists are on target by their own country for no reason and the country is destroying them actively and happily. I genuinely never see something to this level . In my country we don't treat legends like that.

For BTS is more than easy peasy to work abroad, especially since Hybe has global branches. @@pallavisharma4199 it seems like a lot of k-netizens and media organizations don’t have a thought about what consequences their words and actions have beyond creating immediate drama and participating in it. There’s not a thought about what happens if whatever bizarre and performative “scandal” of the moment actually succeeds. It’s the satisfaction of participation in the moment. I don’t know what MHJ and SM think they’ll accomplish. Army isn’t going to all suddenly shift and stan their groups if they destroy BTS. A lot of the incidental attention their artists get will just disappear because our algorithms will stop being skewed toward K-pop. Army isn’t limited to SK entertainment. We’re not all going to filter to another SK group like SK fans have done in the past when their faves disband. Though I really do have to wonder if it’s just a sign of how relatively young their whole entertainment industry is. The first idol groups are around my age. I’m only 44. The entire idol industry has been constructed in my adult lifetime which means that those running the major labels really didn’t and still don’t have previous leaders to learn from. We’d have to go back to the 1940’s or 50’s entertainment industry in the US to get a comparable view.

I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of the very loud "Tokkis" might just be reverse viral marketing agents. 🤔 A lot of ARMYs were actually very hesitant to spread the statement because we don't like making blanket statements for the whole fandom without much discussion beforehand and about issues that don't heavily involve us. But min heejin and her lapdog reporter dragged us into this more than once. So most of us felt that this situation was worth putting the statement out there because, otherwise, the narrative that ARMYs support min heejin would have been unchallenged making it appear that we agree. With the upcoming injunction attempt, we don't want her to be able to point to this article and say that our fandom supports her. In fact, some Fearnots, Moas, and Gllits, helped trend hashtags as well. Trying to say that we are acting under Hybe's direction and for Hybe rather than the artists is humorous because we've actually been very vocal about the fact that we are here for BTS and BTS only. Hybe is not immune to ARMY's criticism.
It's funny🤪 that these fans who hate HYBE , Bts and others so much actually write comments that clearly show bias, subjectivity, they completely ignore what MHJ did, I'm talking about those haters who distort information. As a foreign BTS fan from the US I can tell you if it was not for BTS I wouldn't have even listened to NJ, it was JK who loved ditto and sang it on a live and then they have the video of him dancing to it with the girls and same as Hype boy, if it wasn't for Tae I wouldn't have heard this song, and as a foreign BTS fan there are a hell of a lot Korean Idols, Actors, K drama's, food, and culture I would not know about had I never found BTS, it is BTS who has made it possible for not only for NJ, but many Kpop groups and everything else I have mentioned that would have become so popular in my country.
I am a 55 yr old woman who may only know 1 language and only a high school education, but I do learn on my own about Korean laws, as well as anything Korean, MHJ is evil, I do not want this woman anywhere near the entertainment community, while I may not be a fans of NJ (most likely because I disliked the song Cookie which is very suggestive, cookie has a different meaning than a food item where I am from,) but do I want NJ out, truthfully I don't care, but I do think if MHJ takes them out of HYPE and tries to go somewhere else with them, it will destroy the group thus ruining these girls dreams of becoming an Idol, I do not want these girls to lose this dream, if not for Bang Pd, BTS, and HYBE these girls would not be as privileged as they are.
Army and BTS are a family, if you offend one member or if you offend BTS we will defend and protect each other, even the members have said you protect us, we protect you and that also includes Bighit or HYBE if we dislike what they have done to any of the members, we will let it be known.
I do not trust the Korean media and truthfully the industry because of some of its practices ie not dating, dieting, abuse, not human beings, nor do I like the way fans feel like they own the idols, the cancel culture, here in America if we don't like a group or an artist we just don't listen to them, we do not attack them with hate and death threats, nor do we care if they date, marry, have families, or if they are LGBTQ+. I doubt the media in SK will cover it more. They don’t like to support BTS as much because they have no control there. The best way to make sure it gets attention would be to spread it through social media but I’m not sure how much of a liability that would be for individual users given the SK libel laws. Part of the reason international armies trended these hashtags was to spread her KKT messages. We’re not subject to the same libel laws. 💜
