I remember the Lady Naz'jar fight and hoping that we would one day get a Brawl like that. I never would have expected it to become an actual card. I'm so glad it did, cause this stuff is some of the most fun, and incredibly OP too.
Shaman's gameplay has definetly evolved. ^^

Evolve on arena can completely WRECK you, once I was winning, randomly the shaman put up 5 minions, small ones mostly, used evolve and the value he got from it was insane! In certain situations it solely wins some arena games
I would implement a 100 arena win with each class and when you complete from then on all your arena cards are golden.

+babassoonist You probably misunderstand, he means 100 mage wins, 100 warrior wins, 100 rogue wins, etc then once you have 900 wins spread evenly across all nine classes you will get golden arena cards. If you think that is pretty low still then you may be right, I'm not an avid arena player :)

I think one of the major issues with it is that it has anti-synergy with overload (bar Feral Spirit since they're both 3 drops), so to maximise benefit, a lot of the big early Shaman cards (i.e. Totem Golem, Flamewreathed Faceless) aren't ideal

When you play Acidmaw and Dreadscale on turn 10 that's a board clear and you have that 2 guys.
It can be a huge tempo swing. Acidmaw alone is shit.

Kripp try in tavern brawl cold light oracle and that Druid card that makes you gain 2 mana crystals I use it and have been undefeated as it kills your opponent and you can get 24 damage on the board on your first turn

3:17 Lol Kripp the worst 7 drop is definitely not a 5/5; it's by far Dreadscale, the 4/2 piece of trash that pretty much always clears your full board of minions that you just evolved. Trust me, it's happened to me like 3/6 times I've used it on Nerubian Prohowt

There is a little bug with evolve. So, if you use your hero ability and instantly use evolve, if you get a taunt totem the minion it will evolve into gets a taunt.

+The Claw I've had a number of bad experiences with evolve. Totem evolving into doomsayer. Board flood evolving into overcosted stuff like battlecry stuff, evolving into acidmaw which cleared my board.
The only time it's good is when you're evolving trash big guys on no hp or on battlecry stuff, which doesn't always happen that often.
if you use master of evolution with a blank field, does it evolve itself? because that's random 5 mana minion on turn 4

Your shoulder flexibility is fucking insane.
One annoying thing about the "evolve" effect being a shaman feature, is that it works against the overload mechanic. Overload makes you pay a reduced cost upfront at an increased cost next turn, but evolve doesn't care, it sees that earth elemental as a 5 drop, not an 8. Which is enormous.

I have been playing Evolve C'thun, and at first, when the meta was all crazy, it was such a good deck, but now that the strong decks have been nailed down, it isnt as good, which sucks :/

+Vincenzo Adamo Hallazeal is good with a big control shaman like malygos , Leeroy oTK or shaman reincarnate . I don't think yu can build a good list evolve with hallazel because evolve is more for midrange range list with specific minions can be evolved like battlecry minions ( mistcaller, tomb spider ) or expand minions ( tuskarr totemic, bilefin tidehunter ...) or Minions who gets good mana value from other mechanics ( Nerubian prophet , thing from below ). i don't think hey are good together , aybe in a fatigue deck with elise mistcaller and justicar but it's greedy to play dat. Hallazeal yu want to heal yu with a elemental destruction like a boss before a lava shock to setup a malygos party the next turn.

I realised evolve is a mediocre card in constructed. It's over committing to the board. If you save up a combo against warrior or palladin, instant board wipe. If you evolve 1 or 2 minions, instant execute/slam/keeper. Against aggro, it's hard to get a good evolve off.

There are a lot worse 7 drops than a 5/5.. The paladin legendary drop is a 1/7 for example and then you have the hunter legendaries which are 7 drops as well if I'm not wrong.
