Beyoncé for me was like yeah I know she’s great, but I’m not her target audience. It dropped unannounced and set the standard to the music industry, in terms of releasing a single or an album, without the label's traditional promo and rollout. At that time, I was 18 years old and remember thinking, "The Queen is back, like she never left!" Not only did she drop the record, she even released the accompanied seventeen visuals. I don't gotta fave track, its the whole ass record for me❤❤❤❤

Dad has to listen to IV, Lemonade, Black is King, and Renaissance! Beyoncé walked so that Renaissance could fly. IV was the vocal best album until Renny. Black is King is a literal cultural masterpiece, I’m not being inflammatory either… And Renaissance is really just wild. A perfect body of work.

Because your dad loves more soulful music and really enjoys following the content and the deep stuff, I think he would prefer 4 or Lemonade more. Lemonade has far more genres and such sad, complex lyrics, but 4 is just pure soul. It was during a time when everyone was releasing EDM, and it didn't sell as much compared to her other pieces, but it remains one of her favorites and has classic songs that her fans love.

Ik a bunch of people commented this already BUT y’all should listen to 4 (her fourth album) it’s my personal favorite and it showcases her pure vocal talent. If you think you heard her sing before once you listen to 4 you’ll be amazed at her vocal ability!
Because your dad loves more soulful music and really enjoys following the content and the deep stuff, I think he would prefer 4 or Lemonade more. Lemonade has far more genres and such sad, complex lyrics, but 4 is just pure soul. It was during a time when everyone was releasing EDM, and it didn't sell as much compared to her other pieces, but it remains one of her favorites and has classic songs that her fans love.
