I have a negativity mindset, but related to those who I supervise. I am impatient with them and suspect they lie to me. May the Holy Spirit help rid me of this thought pattern and replace it with a new, healthy mindset. That new mindset is to work patiently with my team members, to take them at their word and believe the best, and to think positively.

Be careful when you use examples on certain biases that may potentially be a cognitive bias of your own. You used your own confirmation bias for conspiracy theories as an example; your confirmation bias is that they aren't true and another persons may be it is. Shows how easy these biases are to fall into. Great podcast to make you think. I appreciate your service to the Lord as I've grown closer to God from your sermons!
Also means all the guys around you, feel the pressure to have muscles like you feel the pressure to workout and go to gym 💪

You're talking about visualization. (Some people take it a step further and call it the law of attraction, but that may include some non- Biblical concepts).
Visualization is fine but also have some realistic backup plans.
@@jmannii after watching again and learn from sermons and for what I learn and watched...be related to the bible always .. tell ourself with God words in bible verses.. example if we worry, we think and say : Do not be anxious about anything,but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.And the peace of God,which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philipians 4 : 6-7 .. it will eliminate all of our anxious worry.. God provide this for us to tell ourself 🙏🏻
