- 9 years since Jonathan Brandis passed away.
I was very young when I first saw Jonathan. I watched the movie The Neverending Story 2. I loved it straight away but most of all I fell in love with Jonathan. He helped me through so much growing up. I had no one but to this day I know I had him. I would think of those bright blue eyes and everything would be fine. He was electric, heavenly, just everything I needed. I don't know what I would have done without him, and the movies I grew up watching of him. This year has been the worst since then, It was getting very deep for me, I wasn't sure if I could continue living. Nothing was inspiring me. I don't know why but I decided to watch one movie, one of his, I had no idea he was in and everything hit me, I rememberd how he saved me when nothing else would, I didn't forget him, I always felt that feeling around me, I remembered his beautiful blue eyes, like they were all I needed.
I was so scared but he yet again came and swooped me up and saved me. He set me free, made me feel myself.
I heard about his death years ago but it took only now for it to really realize that he is gone and no one helped him. It hurt me like nothing else ever has. I wish everyday someone could have saved him, like I know he has saved others. He was a beautiful, talented person, he didn't deserve to feel that way and end his road so tragic. I will always love and miss him. My hero, my paradise, my love, rest in peace pretty baby.

12 years have gone by since Jonathan Brandis chose to leave us. He was such an amazing person and a great actor.
Not a day goes by that I do not think of him or miss him. We must never forget Jonathan, and ensure that future generations know what a great person he was. RIP Jonathan, millions of people miss you. I hope you found what you were looking for.

Jonathan would be very proud to read the words I have just read about your tribute. I am still in shock ten years later that he has done this. There's alot of controversary about that fateful night. The pain never goes away. Please, when you are feeling down, talk to somebody or find solace like you did while watching his movies. I feel the pain of losing him just as strong today as I did the call came in. It hurts others more than you will ever know. Life is hard, but it is livable and the situation is almost always a temperary one. Head UP! Let your light shine for those around you that need it the most and that light will shine through others (like Jonathan did) unto you when you need it most. Blessings
+Amy Burd It is a shame that nobody was really listening to Jonathan or knew the real pain he was going through. My condolences to you. Losing a friend that way it hard, I should know. I had two friends that committed suicide, but strangely their suicides did not affect me the way Jonathan's did. Or still does to this day.
Now fifteen years and still almost as unbelievable and painful.
It's like the nightmare that won't end.

i can relate to that my uncle had killed him self not by hanging his self he ordered some thing on line and that's what he killed his self with when it came in the mail and got it he had depression and i did not know that and going through the military to the reson why he did what he did was my aunt Michel left him for another man
for everyone we are thrown though a loop and in shock i did not know until i looked him up and hurd what happend to him that's how i felt when i saw on the news about mj the king of pop had passed away and when my mom told me about my uncle Jerry i understand the pain

Dude could've easily had the success of Shea lebouef or decaprio it's just the choices and circumstances that dictate fate. He didn't seem like a selfish or malicious kid at all. All the lost souls, I hope we find our way some day
Alright in response to a few of your comments, Jonathan has "hinted" to his friends about suicide but we never believed it because it wasxn't his nature. There was much much more than just the career issues. ALOT MORE. The events of that night entirely could have been avoided and he may not have made the decision that he had made. Sadly, it has come to that.
Amy B, you were so fortunate to have known Jonathan personally and I am sorry for your loss. As much as I miss Jonathan and as sad, that doesn't seem appropriate to describe how I felt, after Jonathan's death cannot imagine what those closet to him felt. But be assured that Jonathan's true fans, those that loved him and all of bus great work will keep his memory and legacy alive for future generations.

What color was his real eye color?
He hung himself the said he was depressed about his career and drank heavily. He didn't leave a suicide note so they don't know exactly why. Looks like he never told his friends who reported that he was depressed with his career. I wish people would have never silenced people about how they feel. This could have been avoided if he wouldn't have bottled everything up. He was and amazingly talented actor.
