Note that if you use this trick with thunder stone or fire stone you will instantly crash the game, super handy tech though!

@@RiteOfSolaris oh and i forgor, i believe tannerkivi does actually crash your game if you ever decide to kick while having it controlled in this way because its meant to cause an earthquake

You throw a tablet, and then bounce a projectile off of it (for example spark bolt with trigger>spark bolt with trigger>nolla>unstable crystal)
If you hold the down key and are crouched, items are thrown in only one frame. This changes the timing for the item possession bug so that both the throw and the equip inputs can be input at the same time. Having a key bound to throw, down and x itemslot will perform the bug with almost perfect consistency.
I prefer to do it manually because having it so easily on hand feels like cheesing, but that’s no reason not to share cool information. Also, knowing how to throw an item a few frames faster COULD save a run someday.

I've only seen one person tablet dig to a parallel world, Letaali did it on nightmare. To be fair, he used earthquake shot to get most of the way but it was hilarious.
Of course Letaali would do that!
with tablets you can cave the strongest of skulls in, dig through the hardest of materials, steal the most expensive spells, leap the widest gaps, climb the highest mountains, confuse your toughest enemies and shield you from the largest explosions

This is such a noita moment. I love it.
I love how the accepted method of beating this game is cheesing every possible aspect of it. And that the ultimate skill ceiling above aim is being able to equip yourself to perform various cheeses. I can’t think of another game/ community like that that isn’t speedrunning based.
What's even crazier is how DIFFICULT the game is no matter how many cheeses you stack. It's like the old roguelikes, where monsters can have dozens of different ways of inflicting instant kills.
@@r3dp9 I wouldn't necessarily say "no matter how many". An "always cast lightning thrower" wand + electric/fire/explosion immunity + fungal shifted lava/acid/propane turns Noita into babby's first game, as long as you're not foolish enough to test out a "Touch of X" spell on the run. Good luck surviving long enough to pull that off, or being blessed with the right RNG (177431053), though.
its not really cheesing the game as the game is built to cheese you as much as possible. its more leveling the playing field.

I wonder if this would count as pacifism or a player kill if you crushed an enemy with it. Still incredibly powerful either way.
Edit: it looks like it works essentially the same to throwing a tablet at an enemy normally, so probably not always pacifist.
Its the same as if you've normally thrown it, you still get the double cash
@@Cookiekopter unfortunately, normally throwing it sometimes counts it as a projectile rather than a normal physics object
If you drag the item out of your inventory to throw it, it counts as Pacifist. I'm not sure if you can do this trick by dragging the tablet out inventory then pressing the button immediately to switch back to it. It would be worth trying it out.

You can somewhat reliably trigger tablet possession without any special timing by binding "down", "throw", and "select item in slot 6" to the right mouse button (assuming the tablet's in slot six). It requires being on the ground, and seems to work more reliably when not moving, not throwing as far, or at certain angles. Using this control configuration does allow at least a limited form of possessed tablet kicking by holding "down" while attempting a tablet kick using the normal "kick" control and this special "possessed item throw" binding. It's easier to practice than normal tablet kicking as the tablet can be reclaimed quickly with "interact" (especially if you combine "kick" and "interact" onto one key/button [ETA: even better: hold down a "down"+"kick"+"interact" key, (tablet kick delay,) click a ("down"+)"throw"+select item in slot 6" button]).

I just love when an item that has nothing to do with combat ends ip as a high efficient killing tool when a player doess sometthing wacky with it
Thinking about it, could this be used to obliterate Skoude with zero risk of being spotted by him (and enabling his matter-eater field) at all? I'm assuming it could, which is nice to have as another option to get rid of him without having a good wand (as is often the case with my "oops, no wands on the first four floors at all" runs.)

As someone who has tried Oreo cookies with hot sauce, It is actually good, but it depends on the sauce. It was good with this habanero sauce I had and I'd imagine it's good with more sweet sauces like mango habanero.

I was thinking... Can you beat Noita without ever going into the holy mountain? Screw the gods, we don't even need to play their little games to beat them at it! (to clarify, the challenge is to never use the teleporters into the holy mountains, never pick up the full heals or wand refreshes in the holy mountains, never buy wands or spells in the holy mountains, and to never pick up skills or perks from the holy mountains. all else is fair, except hacking the game of course)
Theoretically possible if you find plasma cutter/beam drill at snow biome. Then you can cut trough floors between biomes. The issue arises from RNG, as you need good wands to generate, as you can't use wand tinkering without perks and mountains.

Doesn't seem to work for me in the new version. It should be ridiculously simple, but it just doesn't work.

Is way more difficult in the new ver, colisions somehow got improved, still did it... but x3 time
My gaming tip: bind slot 8 to scroll down. You can then throw and scroll down a liiitle bit after you throw and you pretty much always get the telekinesis. Better yet, once you pick up the item it will again be in slot 8, so you can retry immediately
Tablet glitching works. In tablet digging, the tablet immediately moves away once it touches you not like in here where it sticks for a second in the middle. Free spell doesn't worked either. When the spell hits the roof, the price didn't disappear.
This video was made 1 year ago. They patched all the ui bugs, this included.
@@aliciawelch3127 The shop glitch is harder but still doable with the right set up. Digging is probably patched dont qoute me on that tho

For me... (just throwing this out) I have 'E' bound to my first potion slot. I have extra buttons on my mouse side so click 1, or 2 for wands 1 and 2 which will be my main attack and 2 is a teleport wand. Works really well for me! Hopefully this helps someone.

im trying to dig through holy mountain with the tablet posession glitch the same way you did. but i cant get the tablet inside me
Just keep throwing it into you. Try moving your cursor closer or further away from yourself in order to adjust the strength of the throw.
@@FuryForged I did try it for the better part of an hour, couldn’t get it to work. I have a recording I think if you’re curious where I went wrong. I ended up using the bottle of acid I had on me I had to break out and then died soon afterwards cause I wanted to pacifist the area xd .
If you want to upload the recording, then I'll definitely look at it and try to see where it went wrong!

I am an sedf guy. e for up, d for down/eat, a for kick (or crouch in fps)
Also having the first wand/potion on mouse 4/5 repectively is pretty gut imo.

If the game thinks youre holding the tablet, and the tablet is simultaneously not near you, why does the tablet's text box appear? Neither of those scenarios should make it visible
I like how at this stage you are literally bending the world rules and performing what can be only considered as pure magic by any in-game entity. You became the true sorcerer, exploiter of hidden laws. And I wonder if gods will notice you doing that =)
Yeah, very cool trick. I did a video using that method of tablet surfing to fly to the moon a while ago.
Most people think wands are the craziest part of this game. Little do they know it's actually the tablets.
Would this work with flasks for making it easier to fill flasks with tele? Making it easier to get the flask upright and get it out of the teleportatium. (perhaps by throwing it initially above water so that it doesn't break if you mess up and it falls)
U can technically dig into the parallel world with noita and ambrosia and its prolly even gonna be safer cuz u will be able to stay inside the ambrosia pool all the time
The best way to get the timing right is to watch the text at the bottom left corner when it tells you "wand selected". seems like the correct time to press the number for the slot is the moment after the text shows up

What bosses can you kill this way?
bind down, throw, and the slot where your tablet is to the same key. Stand on the ground and press the key you bound. No practice required :^)
Yup. You can do that. I'd personally rather learn how to get the timing down manually so I don't have to rely on the keybinds as much, but for anyone else reading this ^ try that.

I can't get the timing to work, what is the timing like? Do I need to hit the keybind immediately after I throw the tablet, or delay it slightly? Also, are you in a beta while doing this, or in the base game?
Base game. Immediately after. Try spamming it to get it for the first time. Hit item slot button, then throw, immediately hit item slot button again. You also need to throw it directly up.
I hope this isn't patched out with the new 5wand fix. It seams to work by the same mechanic. That would make me pretty sad
You can still possess the tablet! But you cannot steal spells with one anymore :(
Help when i try digging the table starts shaking and prevents me from breaking the wall, how do i make it stand still while i dig like in this video?
it is not patched, i just tryied for 1h or so and got it right.. its hard but you get the idea when you start to get it right.
but just dont let it shake, if the tablet is shaking it wont work, it has to gently fall into you without shaking and soon as it touch the ground it the time to press AWD just once... when it works the tables slightly breaks some piece.
if the tablet is shaking just keep adjusting it... until it go smooth

Was the tablet digging patched? I can do the glitch but im not even making a dent on the wall
It was not patched, no. It probably will not be patched. Getting it started is the trickiest part. I've practiced it a bunch, so maybe I make it look easier than it is. It does take some practice to get the "feel" of it. You have to be a certain distance (close) to what you want to dig through, then as soon as the tablet falls through you, you press AWD. If done correctly, then you'll immediately eat a small chunk out of the ground/wall near you. Once that happens, it becomes easier to dig the rest of the way. Here's my main video talking about this. Did this get patched out with the other menu bug abuses like 5 wanding?
Nope. Tablet-possession/kinesis was actually intentionally kept in. You can't steal spells with it the same anymore, since they raised the HM biome ceiling, meaning you would have to actually cut away the ceiling a few feet before being able to steal spells, but everything else works just fine.

If you're going to cheat, why do it this way? Its obviously an exploit
1. becouse this way doesn't require any code editing/programs, just in-game mechanic. (maybe developer didn't wanted to program that, but still - there is huge difference in exploiting game mechanics and using cheats)
2. There was big patch note, developer are definitely aware of that glith (as he raised ceiling of HM biome so you can't steal spells that way) and still didn't fixed it
