Thanks for the video still assisting years later and will no doubt for years to come. This helped me heaps as the Welsh plug had come out of my Carby and was floating around the chamber. I popped it back in, sealed it up as you said and its back going again. Wouldn't idle with it out.
Some of the best close up photography i've seen.....very easy to see and understand...a real no brainer!!! How did you do that??? But great results!!! Thanks so much. I need a new carb rebuild kit for an older Homelight.
Sorry. I don't mean to be critical of your knowledge. You do know what your doing. The first diaphragm you removed is not the pulse diaphragm. That is the metering diaphragm which regulates the inlet needle to allow the right amount of fuel to enter the carb. The other side of the carb with the blue clear diaphragm is the pump. That is what the impulse acts on to pump the fuel.

Thank you great explaining.
Great video. No one mentions the piston pump screen. It’s it clogged the all that still wouldn’t work as advertised.
Thanks Awesome video

Never bottom out the screen. When bottomed out a small amount of sawdust can clog it. No fuel can come from the sides.
