    Would I also need to touch out with contactless cards, or that is only for oyster card users?

    How much does it cost roughly for a ride with the oyster card let's say from soho to Victoria Station? If there's lots of stops, is there a seperate price for each stop? Going next week and kinda nervous. Never on a tube before.

    It's easy if you live somewhere in Edgware or Borehamwood you can take tube/train to Maybe some places

    I will travel to London next week for the first time and I also want to use the contactless card. Does it also work with a normal creditcard (silver mastercard)?

    Next week, I'll be using the London Underground a lot as I'm practicing for an attempt to visit all 272 stations in a day

      @@kirbosomething I had to start at Northwood not Chesham station because of the lack of signal staff in Zones 7-9, which meant I was eight stations down before I started. Then when I reached Rayner's Lane, I got off a Metropolitan line train I should have stayed on, then later didn't get a c2c train at Upminster. This wasted me too much time so by the time I got to Cockfosters I decided to just go straight to Heathrow Terminal 5. 246 stations in just over 18 hours

    Hi Joe, thanks for the video. I'll be visiting London with my family (me, my wife and 2 kids) and will buy family and friends railcard (Digital). My basic question is, how can we enter the gate for 4 people? Do we need to back and forth handing over the railcard?

    • @patrykmyslinski1285
      @patrykmyslinski1285 Год назад +3

      You all need your own travel/oyster/ticket/contactless card. If the kids are under 11, then they can follow you on the big disabled/children gates. If they’re over 11, they’re also going to need a Visitor Oyster or a oyster. Or they can also just follow you into the station via the disabled gates ;)

      @PatrickWLondon Год назад

      Teenagers 11-16 can get half fares if you get the ordinary Oyster card and ask the station attendant to put the Young Person's discount on it (not the Visitor Oyster). Under-11s travel free with an adult.

    Hello, is it ok to take a suitcase on board? I am planning to use the tube to get from Heathrow to my hotel, but I am worried about this. Very helpful video, tho!

      It's ok. Just don't block space. But it's better to get the Heathrow Express for more luggage space

    - 15 travel zones actually
    - well zones 2-5 exists
    - why is it always citymapper? its not even that good
    - close but not accurate
    - its not always more expensive in the peak, for example zone 6 > 1 journey in the evening peak would cost the off peak fare
    - you stand on the right in escalators, left everywhere else
    overallcthis wasnt grwat, a lot of things not mentioned and a lot of things wrong
