Watching your video, here's two macros I think you may enjoy. #showtooltip /cast [@cursor][]Infernal Strike #showtooltip /cast [mod:shift,@cursor][nomod:shift,@player][]Sigil of Flame The first one will cast your Infernal Strike with one button click wherever your mouse cursor is. You don't have to click it once to bring up the targeting circle and then click it again to activate. It just does it all at once wherever your mouse is. The second one will drop your Sigil at your feet automatically with one button press. If you hold shift when you press it, it will drop it wherever your mouse cursor is instead (with one click). Most of the time you will be dropping Sigils right at your feet, so this makes that much more smooth - while still retaining the ability to select a different Sigil location (by holding shift) when needed. You can change the Sigil name as needed for the other Sigils. These macros eliminate the need to click the ability once to bring up a targeting circle, position the target circle, then click to actually perform the ability.
Hey there.. I love the guide and I'm looking forward to polishing my VDH Skills Good Work PS: one think really made me question my tanking ... where you taking the scopids with scopiron as they spawn on purpose to show the power of a DH or was it just like that... Cuz i though they would tanking only the ones coming into the circle
Thanks! - And you could say I was showing the power of it but was raid finder so we were 'cheesing it' (can be done with higher difficulties depending on your gear) proper way you would tank them in the circle, as the scorpid's come in packs :)
Haha Thanks! - I'll try to post them as soon as I can but I don't use WAs, but Tellmewhen. EDIT- I've placed string formats of the UI in the description.
hey, 5/10m VDH here. was curious about how you talked about how much to use soul cleave. Personally I don't cast it much at all (7-15) times a fight, yet I still get 90%+ healing logs. I'm not overgeared or anything but I tend to only use it if I'm dropping under 80 percent health.
Hey, the usage of Soul Cleave will come down to your own judgment, I can't really say how much times you are supposed to use it as that will vary on your character and encounter, for obvious reasons. Generally, I also used when under 80% Health(with the 'rules' said on video) or whenever capping Pain(just for damage). But I also tend to use it as much as I can to take the strain off the healers, whenever is possible anyway. Something that I find personally fun to do. But your (7-15) seems to be a good average. If you think that's low for the amount of healing that you are doing, if you capping your Soul Fragments(5) and still building more, you are actually getting healed for any extra created. Plus most methods of mitigation also counts in the healing meters. Dunno if that answers your question :)
Hello ^^ Many people say on forums: "Flee the DH Tank"... Don't very good in Dungeon MM+, and not very good in RAID MM Why ? In your video you're fine. But is it becaufe you are great stuff? I hesitate to play between two Tank: War or DH? What could you advise me? Thank you
Hey, the only advice I can give is to play the one you like/enjoy the most, they are both doing fine in the game right now, all have their strengths and weaknesses, I personally enjoy DH more than Warrior and I find DH quite powerful for any situation while Warrior can be weaker against magical damage. But again just pick the one you enjoy the most.
Disagree entirely on Last Resort. There are not any strategies that require a Vengeance DH that requires you to use it, for example instead of taunting off for a one shot you take it yourself and revive. Soul barrier is better entirely in nearly every single situation. I don't think last resort should be mentioned at any point.
No need to worry about generating threat, all your abilities do a good amount of it, even if it doesn't say on the tooltip, a simple hit with any of your abilities and you get aggro. For multi-target(aoe) Immolation Aura, Sigil of Flame and the cleave from Soul Cleave will be enough to grab aggro from multiple mobs. You just need to learn how to manage their cooldowns just like I said in the video. :)
you deserve more subs. The animations, the info, the way its presented so fluidly. It's all high quality. Good job. You have a new sub here.
Thanks!
Me too
Amazing video, really helped out. Needed a refresher after coming back with two big patches of changes lol.
Glad I could help!
Just came back after a 3-month break and this video is super helpful! Thanks!

Great guide! I love your UI. Would you mind sharing your WAs and your ElvUI profile? I blame myself for not finding your channel earlier... lol
Haha Thanks! - I'll try to post them as soon as I can but I don't use WAs, but Tellmewhen.

Thank you for for this very helpful&informative video, you've earned a sub.
Do you have a link to the WAs you're using to track your uptime on buffs like demon spikes?

Played since beta and learned some stuff I didn't know. Do you have any recommendations for a 903 DH in the Mage Tower?
Sadly, Vengeance isn't my main so I can't really help you out as of yet.
How is the feral druid sparkling and leaving a trail of magical pinkness?
He's a fabulous kitty of course!
