The opening bit of the "Aviation Vacation" extract calls to mind this bit of Engrish from an English-language guide to Japan's Narita International Airport: "A Great Stage Where Wings of the World Gather, Flap and Fly Together"
To me there's none better than Wackiki Wabbit due to the use of Hawaiian guitar, but The Abominable Snow Rabbit is a close second- that wah wah trumpet at "Gosh, it's hot" and "Oh boy, a bunny rabbit!" makes it amusing.
I hadn't heard the original version of the song prior to making this compilation but it's gotten good arrangements, like "Robinson Crusoe Jr.", "Wackiki Wabbit", "Odor-Able Kitty", "The Windblown Hare", "The Abominable Snow Rabbit" and "Fish and Slips".
BTW, I can't believe I never noticed this before, but in Fish and Slips when Sylvester says he's top cat and Jr. says "Oh father, REALLY."- a subtle swipe at the Hanna Barbera Top Cat show? It debuted in 1961 and this short was from 1962, so it's possible.
