Hi, so now that you've had the Potensic and Fimi for a few months now, do you still think that the Fimi comes out on top? That is, is what Fimi claims, true?
Yes, in my opinion, the Fimi is better than the Potensic Atom. But the Potensic is still a very good drone. But the Fimi, Has a larger sensor. More features. Better image.
@@RobinDrones Thanks for your thoughts. I ended returning my Fimi Mini 3 as it had a dead pixel and Fimi support, well, nothing good can be said about them. They refused to honour the warranty. I still liked the drone but I was planning on using it commercially. I am hoping that the Atom 2 comes out soon. I checked the IFA in Berlin as per your other vid but there were no announcements regarding Atom 2. I may still get another FM3 as I now have an extra 3100mAH battery as a paper weight but will understand that there's zero warranty or support.
It goes on presale on April 22 and you get an extra battery as a bonus. PS. Looks like a great deal but from my experience better to wait for a few HONEST reviews before buying. That way you will be able to avoid wasting $300.
@@RobinDrones Looking forward to your review. This will be fimi's third try at a mini. I hope the new camera will record with a more consistent bitrate and frame rate. Also hope a new gimbal solved the tilted horizon issue.
If you go to the link you provided, no matter what you choose, the price stays the same (?). This is a very good alternative, but we'll wait for your review and flight videos. If you fly it out over the farmland as you did with the mini 2 SE, it'll be good to see if it can give the range that one showed. Please see if it will do decent panoramic shots. Of course, the app is what makes or breaks these.
Yes, it would be good to have one included but not a deal breaker for me as the batteries have usb c built in, so can charge them outside of the drone.
Mini 4 night to me looks better, but it's not the same price as this is it. Always nice to have other options for drones so will wait for some real reviews of this before looking again at it.
@@RobinDrones Just like to say went flying with the fimi V2 today put it in sports mode and it must be the fastest small drone on the market it's like a racing drone fimi 3 will be Awesome.
At the risk of sounding silly I wonder whether the colour will make it easier to see at distance which would translate to being able to go further on line of sight flying. Interesting package but no charging hub. Maybe that doesn’t matter to some.
Yes, I actually like the colour. Surely, it will be easier to see, and like you said, being able to fly out a little bit further 😀 I actually don't mind that there isn't a charging hub as it brings down the price and is less to carry about, but yeah, it would be nice if they had the option.👍
@@RobinDrones That’s a fair point Robin about costs. Right now The Mini 2SE special Costco bundle can be had for a hair under $390 CAD. The package includes a second battery and the DJI bag with the see-through drone carrying pocket on the outside. DJI must be looking to replace that one soon based on the Costco pricing. It’s not showing as a sale price and they aren’t many of the Costco warehouses any longer.
There is a new mini 2 se coming out with a different chip to allow 4k recording, apparently 🤔. It must be true as that is why they are discounting the prices 😉
Yes, who knows what they do with our data. But this day and age, anything with a data connection could be spying on us. I try not to worry about it....

Yeh, on paper, the mini 4 pro should be better at night due to the bigger sensor. But on that video, the Fimi did look impressive 👀

There are two companies i wouldn't trust with my data. DJI and Xiaomi.

Looks good, I was very happy with my fimi A3; untill i tore the gimbal ribbon cable. No parts support for fimi products it seems.
Yeh, I would imagine crash it, and you are on your own to fix it, no parts, I guess, because they aren't as popular as dji drones.
