Kellars look to be $260 vs Hypertech's $230. Not much difference. I'm not a band wagoner but at such a close price point and everyone already swearing by Kellars, I'd probably go with them. It was also brought to my attention that since I'm planning on getting L&W forward arms, I could get their mega joints for the same price too. Being that these 2 companies use the same materials, I don't see them wearing much different. Thank you for the comparison.
I'm not sure what brand grease you're running and the frequency you're greasing but it's critical to the life of your joints. your Keller joints looked pretty dry to me. I've got a set of Keller mega joints on order. It's going to be interesting to see how they last
So I use marine grease and I normally try to grease them every time we go out but unfortunately doesn’t always work out that way it seems like they always need grease
I have some CPC captured balljoints I got from amazon (even cheaper than hypertech at $89 each). They look like a combination of Keller and Hypertech. Anyways, off the vehicle, if I screw down the backing body portion, even with the adjustment stud backed out. It feels like they bind up. Will this not be an issue once they are installed into the arm (they cannot thread down as far when installed?) They don't have any directions and my a-arms have not arrived yet. Also, you you use 2 zipties per balljoint (neck and body) or only one around the neck? Thanks!
How often are you greasing and adjusting the pin on the Keller? To me it looks like you put them in and haven't serviced them. They had no grease on disasemble.
So I have kellers and one broke rather easy. I was wondering could I put a hypertech rebuild kit in my keller housing since the stud has more meat than the kellers? And also where do you get the kits? I've got a 21 pro xp
So I’m not 100% sure that you can use components from one company to the next. I would imagine they’re a little bit different. You can reach out directly to Hypertech and see if they have the rebuild kit. I’m not sure I’ve never had problems in the last two years, we run these ball joints and everything but you can save some money on the Hypertech website with this discount code Utvoutlaws wish I had better answer. Hopefully this helps.
@@utvoutlaws6652 so I called them and rcv both to ask about rebuilds. Neither offer them. So you have to break em to get a replacement. I'll just stick with what I have until I do something different. Thanks for the reply and the code!
We have been using these ball joints in multiple machines for two years without a failure without a problem Hypertech makes good quality parts thanks for watching
They’re holding up amazing we’re racing with them jumping with them trail riding with him they’re good quality ball joint anything and everything we work on that’s what we put on them Good company to work with thanks for watching

Will it clear the rim
Does hypertech offer a rebuilt kit like Keller does?

Thanks for the review. I think they still need a plastic bushing for decent wear
No problem, thanks for watching!!
difference is the pin material thats been used.. kellers are 300m and hypertech are 4340 chromo
Keller claims the same grade material on their website. I'll have to do some investigating though. Thanks for watching.
Keller uses 4340E not 300M

About every three rides I need to adjust these and grease them
How have the hyper tech held up?
Amazing still going strong
What did you torque the main ball joints housing to

So how did they last?
Still going strong and we have the Hypertech Xtreme Ball joints on like eight of our machines
How do you order the hypertech ball joints?
If you go to mikesoffroad.com they sell them there. I added a link in the description. Thanks for watching :)
@@utvoutlaws6652 Thanks
Are you at Glamis
Unfortunately we are not :(
Hard on equipment, your vice is busted😎👍🏿🤣😂
I wasn’t impressed with the Keller’s for the money
We liked these so much that we just got another set! Thanks for watching!!
Cheap ball joints are like cheap rubbers, they all break, why would you risk your life? and no Wheeling is NOT Cheap Thrills!
