Yes bro I do agree, actually it's a problem with every religion, the pimps of every particular religion have manipulated the holy text to suit their cause and make business out of it.😏 Reality is every religion is beautiful and meets and the same point of view.🙏

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji Ki Fateh🙏🏻🤍 Explained very clearly and with compassion. Thank you for all the knowledge you share with Sangat through your videos!
A very special thanks from my side to Bhai Satpal Singh Ji for the brief explanation of this widely renowned and wrongly mis -interpreted shabad from Gurbani . This video has completely cleared my misconception about the Shabad and given me an aspect , which is one of a kind . WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA , WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH !!!
My father is in the hospital after cardiac arrest. He had deprivation of oxygen to his brain but to a certain extent. It’s been 4 weeks and he’s been on and off awake. But not fully conscious. My father is a great, humble and such a devoted Sikh. All he does is read Gurbani and preach. I know Waheguru saved him for a reason as a second chance. But it hurts seeing him like that. I do so many ardas and paath that please help heal my dad’s brain. I want him home and healthy. I want my dad back. He’s so young.
Much needed to be said! Another shabad that is really misused is 'lakh khushiyan patshaiyan'. The rahao (pause) pangti is the central theme of the shabad, not whatever we decide will sound good
Thankyou waheguru ji all blessings 🙏 Feels comes from inside but one need to accept baba ji blessings Dont ask just accept the feeling ❤ I am not nothing 😌how baba ji bless or how you can acheive God bless you all

Perfect explanation 100% agree. Just one thing, not to sound nit picky but to say the Rahao is THE central point in a Shabad is not 100% accurate. There are a lot of Shabads in Guru Granth Sahib Ji that have multiple Rahaos in them. You can say the main points or ideas are the Rahaos of a Shabad but not the central idea. To say ‘central’ is to imply it’s the middle of something. Take a wheel for example, there is only one centre not multiple centres. So if we use that analogy above, it makes more sense to say that Rahaos are the main themes or points to a Shabad but not the ‘centre’ or ‘central point’ of a Shabad. A lot of people and translations say that Rahao means ‘central point’ of a Shabad. However as you can see from above this is not accurate as there are 2 or more Rahaos in some Shabads. So we as Sikhs need to change our language or wording when it comes to Rahao. Other than that I agree 100% and your knowledge of Gurbani is very deep and I’m grateful that people like you are around to spread true Sikhi. Again, I don’t mean to come across as nitpicky so forgive me, I just thought I’d share some knowledge for people to see. Bhul Chuk Marf 🙏
Line "Jo mange Thakur aapne teh soi soi devay"! Lets translate it into English literally as the words are writ. Jo = Whatever Mange = beg or plead or ask Thakur = Master / God Aapne Teh = From our Master Soi Soi = that which you begged or pleaded for Davey = Is given The enlightened one is servant (das) to Master (Thakur) and whatever he (das) begs for or pleads before Master, that is given to him in due course of Time.. The next line by Nanak says, whatever the enlightened one (das) speaks or says in truth that happens here & there. To conclude, The Master always listens to His servant's (das) prayer beg or plead & it is done for him. Importantly its not for Everyone in the world that they ask beg or plead,: it is given, but who is The Lord's servant (das) only is he Given. They are very rare in the world.
That is the whole point he just explained you didn’t understand. He said read in systematic way. Pankti before ਰਹਾਉ has to be sung first then this pankti show up. Those rare ones don’t ask for worldly things, they are at point there is no difference b/w them and lord (turiya avastha) all they seek in naam and god takes care of them. Living in world they remains detached yet doing daily chores
Make a gurmukhi online course, so people can start reading gurbani. One reason why Guru Nanak´s message has not spread enough is that people in western society do not have access to learn gurmukhi. Learning gurmukhi step by step, so you can actually read the gurbani. There are way more sources to learn spanish for instance (reading, writing and speaking) than gurmukhi. Even a basic gurmukhi course with examples of some shabad, how to read them would be really nice. Spreading Nanaks words through english words is very important, but it is also as important to know how to read parts of Guru Granth Sahib.
@@Ydidutakemyname Yes and that is a good playlist, but that is not enough. They teach the simple letters and some small amount of words. With that, a german for instance would not be able to get a good foundation to read gurbani on his own. It is a good start, but if someone taught gurmukhi through Guru Granth Sahib let´s say reading 2-10 pages of SGGS and explaining how to properly read them word by word for english audiences, how to pronounce differents words correctly, that would be amazing. If you want to be a muslim in Germany and want to learn arabic, it is very easy because there are many courses to learn it. There are not that many courses in Germany to learn Gurmukhi. So, there should be at least a good online course for it.People just need a good foundation and then they can learn it on their own. I am not saying that Nanak Naam foundation should try to teach Gurmukhi through every page of SGGS. 2-10 pages would be enough, so you can go further on your own. You already learned many words and how to pronounce them through 2-10 pages. Greetings.
2pacfan12357 hmm well I would suggest use their videos to learn the alphabet and as well as how each word is pronounced. Then I would suggest learning Punjabi as Punjabi uses the Gurmukhi script. Even though SGGS is in many languages a lot of it is in Punjabi and if you start to learn and read Punjabi the SGGS will be easier to read.
Whosoever becomes a true servant to God they live dead to themselves but alive to Guru & God. Living dead means you dont ask beg desire or hope Nothing & become totally dependent on Guru & God. I think this is humans flaw in general. When communicating with a person instead of listening to the whole sentence some tend to focus on that one word within the sentence they strongly like or dislike and end up interpreting the message wrongly. They will just be fixed and focused on that one word only.
N Sir mujhe aapse kuch questions puchney h on "ik" oneness practice please I m( wud his vgrace ) trying to feel tht too but few questions are bugging me where can I talk typing is difficult to express please help n guide veer ji
I want to add in a perspective of mine. I totally agree with you bhai satpal but what if we're really not up the level of being called a 'das' of that akal purakh. I get your point about how pathees are misusing gurbani. Check. I agree that a being who is capable of being called a das works according to the divine order, like there is no way he could ask for something materialistic, maybe he's asking from maharaj to grant him somebodys sewa. Is it possible the pathees are probably not wrong?, whatever a das asks for maybe he really gets it? Or maybe its just that we're not upto the mark or worthy of being called a das in the first place.
Waheguru ji.. I second your point. The gurbani has a lot deeper meaning than we can understand. I remember maskeen ji saying that there are thousand teekas of japuji sahib and every teeka is true ! Jo mange thakur ... soi soi deve may also mean that if we desire positive things, we will get positive things and if we desire negativity, we will have negative things.
Sukhmeet Singh Absolutely true veerji. I think it really depends upon what one's motive is behind asking for something, akal purakh waheguru is the reader of hearts. There's absolutely no doubt about the depth of gurbani, no wonder every time you take a hukamnama you get an answer.

No... I think its real meaning is that... That person does not beg anything, his all wishes disappeared, thats y he saying that "Jo maangey thakur..... " bcoz he is not asking anything
As you say, and maybe I've misunderstood it or understood it, I can't really comprehend. If we accept Hukam, should we also accept harassment, murder, slander etc as happening according to his will and not even try to do anything about it? Does hukum mean surrender? Forgive me for my naive questions but makes me kind of hopeless. If nothing good is going to happen and if everything has to anyway happen as per the divine will, those who have to suffer will suffer, those who have to be lost will be lost , then what is the point of life anyway? I'm just asking something that crossed my head, and would really really love to know what you have to say about it Bhai saab
Thank you for your wisdom. I can't comment on gurbani, I am a sikh but continue to learn. A student right. But the divine does not make the "sun rise". Where is the wisdom of the cosmos in gurbani ??
As all things are created from Waheguru, so are the laws of nature that Waheguru has created. All of nature is subject to these laws. So in that sense, the sun and planets are subject to the laws of gravity. Hope that makes sense. That is how I have interpreted Gurbani to apply to the cosmos.
I understand what you are trying to say, but why did you apologize for saying God. Baba Nanak used different names for God. He even said Gur Gur Eko Vesh Aneck. We need to stop acting like Muslims. If you truly believe in One God, then you should know that there is nothing else out there, except for him. Aakheh mangeh deh deh daat kare Dataram. Also says God grant all wishes. What you need to teach is that God can see past present and future. He decides what is good for us and the timing of things.

I agree with you. The resources are there but it needs to be even easier. We can do it. Waheguru can help us.
Exactly veer g... we don't contemplate on central idea of shabad which leads us to think according to mann di matt.
Agreed but Gurbani is infinite
Now I understand...
It is “Ask and You shall receive” but asking has to be complete. Have experienced it, when you ask fully, it happens, else it don’t
But your way is also one way, a linear way
I always thought that it was more like God will give you what you deserve and not what you want
