Resident pleads with authorities to clean gully amid crocodile attacks

A New Haven, St Andrew resident, Christine Jenkins, whose dwelling is situated just footsteps away from the Duhaney River, said one crocodile comes out between three or four times a day, especially when the time is hot.
Jenkins pleaded with the relevant authorities to clean the garbage-filled gully, as it is only breeding crocodiles and mosquitoes.

The people in the community should come together and clean the gullies

@@johnrobinson1382 Since you don't believe that the government should take on that task, you should get on a plan and, once there, take the lead on showing these people how to get the job done!

Why The government will not take care of it's people. The tourist areas are kept extremely emaculate
The MP for the area has not lobbied on behalf of his constituents. As the lady said, he only turns up when it is election time. Riverton City, Callaloo bed are just two other areas that fall within his constituency, and they all suffer the same fate, and yet, he has been their MP for as long as he has been in politics. The unfortunate thing is that the rot has set in for so long that even if another person is voted in for this constituency, it will take many years and billions of dollars to resolve even the most minute of the issues plaguing these areas. The sad thing is that because this is supposed to be a safe seat for the PNP, the people will continue to vote for party rather than for the betterment of their communities.
And Politicians want a 200% pay increase. Politicians ( PNP & JLP) need fi start doing right by Poor people. That’s just crazy.
Keep ur surrounding clean and other will do the same

Why should a government walk behind some random nasty litter bugs and clean up? That's a community effort. That's my opinion.
