It's a cool game, especially flourishes when played in couch mode with multiple players. Ranged fighters will be significantly stronger than melee fighters if you play battles at a scale of 1 to 1. By default, the scale of battles is 1 to 5. This makes infantry stronger - an infantryman does not die until all 5 lives are used up. In order for the game to work smoothly, it is necessary to use not dosbox, but a real emulator of the old operating system. I managed to configure PCem. Battles with 10 soldiers and 200 soldiers now work perfectly and at the same speed
i've played this also on the retro lp channel, i've separated this channel from the retro lps cause most people are watching Final fantasy videos. Yeah i've played this game couch in RL when i was a teenager with a friend of mine, awesome game, and the 1:1 scale is amazing
Dominions would be the most similar. There are 6 dominions games now, mostly a series that has evolved over 20 years so there is no point in playing the older ones.
@@Johan-hm5uc i know about dominions. I played it before, but the monotony in every game of the series is disappointing. I would like more game than text. In general, this is almost a classic 4x. Thank you. Specifically, I am attracted to games with strategy combined with action gameplay

Definitely need this. Installed on my emulator from a CD image I made. Booted it and had NO IDEA what was going on??
that's a good sign...right?
@@astromonkey1757 Yep
Has anyone ever told you that, when you say "Right...", you sound like Doctor Evil?
That's a new one!
Did you know any similar game?
Cyber Empires is the Sci-FI version with robots and mechs. Master or Magic comes close but it's more Civilization-like. But that's about it
@@astromonkey1757 Thank you. I know about these games. And is there anything newer?
@@shandybka none that i know of
