Hey you should look at the inside of that plug again. That red wire screw is touching the ground wire and with a little bit of time and the force needed to plug that into an outlet, you are going to have a dead short to ground and cause some serious damage. That tip of the metal screw is going to dig into the ground wire. I would flip the hot blade around so the screw is no longer touching the ground wire at least.
You have mentioned the DIYfferent people before. Do you know how they are. Homesteaders don't usually mention their specific location but I think the hurricane was very close to them. And how are you and yours doing?
🎉 YAY YOU! 🎉 I love it when you talk smart!!! Congratulations on gettin-r-did! Thank you for teaching interesting stuff about stuff!!! 😎 Hi Angela and The Boys! 👋 I love you all! ✌️💖🙏🙌🇺🇲🕊️🤜
I love your videos. I hope you buy a surge protector for your camper. Because some camp grounds have that problem. It will save you alot of money and no fire.😊
Weather you use 3 or 4 wire plug, the older your RV is the less chance you'll need 4 wires. You can also fill the plug with epoxy for less chance of a short.
Acetone is what you need for the sticky glue from the black tape. Some of the glue got onto your black gloves and from your gloves on to the yellow plug!
Sam, you guys do a great job explaining things. It is greatly appreciated, a lot of tubers assume a lot that people know a lot more than they do. Thank you.
Frage interessehalber : schwarz und rot = Strom fließt , Neutralleiter, in Germany ist das wohl "Erdungskabel" , aber welche Bedeutung hat das grüne Kabel ?

That's a good catch! I'll be taking it apart and routing the ground wire in another direction. Thanks
@@sam-and-angelathat’s a great catch…but what about the white wire too?
@@sam-and-angela great catch from the viewer..but what about the white wire ?

Thank you! 😃
I hope you guys are ok from the storm. And didn't get to much damage or water/ flooding.
They are located right in the worst hit area of Tennessee.

That was the orange device shown at the end of this video. :)
Great job Sam!! I see someone already said it. Goo-Gone works wonders. I always have a couple of bottles around the house. I am loving the RV series.

Good job I also like to coat the wires lightly with dielectric grease to prevent heat build up and corrosion...
Hope you guys are all ok and didn’t have any damage from the storms and flooding 🙏🏼
My husband read a study by insurance companies, a large part of motor homes and trailers etc start in the refrigerators.

Little bit of Goo Gone or WD40 should do the trick Sam.
Great tutorial Sam
Good job yall did
Love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you Sam and replacing the power cord
Yay!!! Love you guys
Very informative
Good video
Have a good weekend
That looks much better! Try some Goo Gone or WD 40 to get that black stuff off.
One most important to check the refrigerator of the R.V. the most fires was caused by gas refrigerator
My daughter had one at the cabin in the mountains and the gas fridge burnt it down to the ground.
Very similar to a U.K. standard three pin plug with just the additional neutral white wire at the bottom.
Hi Guys!
Does Angela still offer her homemade soap???
Nice work. Goo Gone or some Brake Cleaner will take that gunk off in no time.
That's better Sam.
I hope you and your families are doing ok. I'm not sure Hurricane Helene affected you? God bless😊
I would have put some solder on those wire tips.

After camper life I thought it would be a long time before you hit the road again 🤣
This is VERY different... that was living in a camper in the yard vs. adventuring in a MUCH larger motorhome. ;)
Try sos soap it will clean that gunk off new plug
