@xoelsteppa1216 It would work, but you would have to modify the mounts. Go on ebay, find some Chrysler clusters and some Hellcat clusters, and compare the differences of the mounting tabs on the backs. You'll see what you have to do.
They got a bunch of aftermarket full display dashes for AUDI on Aliexpress.. I dont know if you could retrofit that far back tho. 🤔 I know a couple cats that can put colored leds in your stock dash.
Extended idling causes lifter wear. Install 180 thermostat as hemi originally had in 1993 release. EPA forced a 203 thermostat to burn off a tenth of emissions! Also a much thinner oil. Always keep oil fresh and add Lucas stabilizer.
Extended idling has been considered the main cause of lifter failure because there is no splash onto the roller bearings at idle. Supposedly, the upgraded lifters 2017 and on don't have this problem. Time will tell.. I did inadvertently end up with a 180 tstat on the new motor, but I keep getting the "Thermostat Rationality" error because the car rarely heats up past 200 degrees.. especially in winter.
So would this have been an easier swap if you just swapped the steering wheel as well? Thinking about getting a 2013 Jeep SRT but only if I can upgrade the entire dashboard without many issues.
No, I think my car is too old. The electronics changed in 2017. I couldnt' even put a 2018 gauge cluster in it and keep all the features. I do plan to get the Android Tesla screen next though.. It keeps the SRT pages and I get youtube and GoogleMaps.. Uconnect doesn't do that, does it?
There is an app called ALFA OBD, that can change the mileage. It does not matter what model. Every cluster has the capability to function properly in every LX of the same year range... splash screen and all.
Do all gauges work? Seen a video where gas gauge was stuck at half?
All my gauges work perfectly.
you can also get after market red gauges and still have the blue glow
or oem cat gauges and swap them out
How?
would a 2013 SRT Charger Cluster on a Chrysler work?
i like the chrysler body better but like the red charger screens 😂

YOOOO i did the traction qnd cancel button at the same time unc on godddd you saved me
That looks good will. I'm actually looking for backlit gauges for the Allroad. Found a place that can do custom that I'm probably gonna go with.

Great explanation. Thank you
will the computer know to go over 140mph?
No idea. Ill do some pulls and find out

@SRT8_392 If you go into Marry/Perf/Cluster Swap/YES, with the engine off, it will bring up the gear selector.
Yo can this be added to a 2012 challenger sxt? Or only srt8 please respond to me I need help bad I wanna get a old challenger and put a new face in
Unfortunately, no, it will not work in any Challenger before 2015.
unc pleaseeeeeee lmk how you got the PRND and Speed to show 🙏🏽🙏🏽 pleaseeee unc

Thank u for explaining yes god 👍😎

The steering wheel swap is even more involved. All the newer stuff operates on different voltages, so you will need a newer pcm and maybe a TIPM.
Really, I would justbgrab a 17+ Jeep and spare youself the headaches
Do you know if you can swap a 2011-13 Grand Cherokee head unit to a newer one?
Have any idea for 2011-2013 jeep srt cluster?
No, haven't researched that. If the Tazer works in a 12 Jeep, then it should be able to communicate with a later cluster..
You thinking bout putting a 2024 uconnect system in it? Just curious I might do it if everything works

@@mCube.Networktry the 2016 uconnect model #68322340am
What firware did u use i just recently updated mine to the 2.6.1 and when i plug it in ob my fcw off turns on and traction keep blinking
I have the latest firmware, but mine does the same thing. I made a short about it, but I thought I justbneed to get my radar ball calibrated..
Did you alter the steering wheel yourself? Or purchase it?
Purchased from @zencarbonfiber
Where you get the steering wheel?
@zencarbonfiber
Do ur steering wheel buttons still work
Yes, but only with the Tazer plugged in and only with a 15-17 cluster.
@@mCube.Networkmy buttons don’t work only way to flip through pages by pressing cancel and cruise control
@@mCube.Networknever mind I just did what you said in the video started messing with the car and now buttons work thank you !!
Can a 2008 do this?
@@lantan4776 NO!. I wish
Were you able to get the mileage correct after all ?
Yes. I used an app called AlfaOBD.
@@mCube.Networkhow the app works ? i’m planning on doing this swap as well ? you just type in your mileage ?
how you correct the mileage ? and does it matter if it’s a s cluster or non s cluster ?

How do i do this to a 06 Daytona
Man, sorry.. You don't! If there was a reasonable way, I would have done my Magnum too.. I think we are stuck with gauge face swaps for now.
I did research I just have to to do pcm swap too. And wiring of the car it came from .
Thats what I thought.
