What should be understood about tech-rolling Kazuya after he knocks you down is that you need to tech-roll to your left shoulder. (If you are in player 1 side, press 1 "LP". If you are in p2 press 3 "LK")
Its just honesty about the character. Mind that this is a kazuya main and generally just somebody enthusiastic about his main. Enough so to even talk about what they arent good at doing, all for the sake of keeping the game competitive.

And btw if you have a magic 4 you can easily counter the wavedash mixup, just adjust your timing with your opponent and it'll be easier than sidestepping to the left

Since hopkick are low crushes, be carefull with doing lows at her or with crouch(her only amazing hi damage low is the beyblade fc df 1+2, but she has to enter crouch to do it. remember you can get more damage for trying to avoid low Pokes than eating like 5 of them) so i d say 1.learn to punish hopkick (its weird because it makes you crouch and you don't want the player spam this) 2. she has the best backdash and tries to run the fuck away a lot. so Don t let her and suffocate her at range 0

I have an issue with Kazuya, I can't sidestep his ff3 when I play against him it looks like it tracks to both sides... It's the same when i techroll to his weak side, how do i counter his vortex? I only lose against kazuyas that exploit the vortex
I used to have problems against kazumi players too, but going in to practice mode against her most used moves really helped me in the matchup. She is a very straight forward character afterall.
Hmm, you can't really say i'ts a good panic move, but i'd say its a good way of making sure your opponent is patient and doesn't press buttons on setups that lead for CH d/f+2, if you are impatient after getting hit, you're getting launched.

I agree.Most people play characters that take their turn offensively often and or have built in defense with their offense,so the saying, "The best defense is a strong offense" becomes great advice for this match-up.

Since DJ tactic is same since T3 and Kazuya leaning more and more towards DJ gameplay tactic (even getting Steel Pedal from DJ). We say Kazuya is the most defensive character in the game but the reality is that he doesn't need to because his mixups are insanely strong and they have insane damage. In fact, I haven't even seen a great Korean player playing Kazuya defensively. They just enforce a mixup and come out winning. Even, TMM doesn't play defensively. While in the case of DJ each and every player has a different playstyle. His gameplay looks very much simple but in fact, the gameplan of DJ revolves around small details and nuances. In case of Kazuya, its just defensive on paper but enforcing the mixup in reality. So, in T7 S2 especially, I feel he has become a DJ with better punishment but a weaker neutral game.

imo all the kazuya’s ive fought havent given me much trouble, but i think thats really because even at ruler ranks, very few kazuya’s effectively use his wavedash and electrics and such. low-mid level kazuya’s are really only rolling dice to win games so defense against low level kazuya is strictly a 50-50.
Mostly step to left and punish hard and spam fast safe pokes, do mix ups to stay unpredictable and do setups do keep Kaz in check. Anti Kazuya in a nutshell lol

Only a couple of characters have that many moves. But that is the point of these little videos, to break the match-ups down into just a few rules to make it easier.
Kazuya players would actually body you. They have Df2 and Ff3 which will hit on crouch. You really need to utilize sidesteps and blocks and not only crouch.

Basically no one uses devil kazuya. Electrics are mid but no + on block anymore. He loses his pressure. If timed correctly you should still be able to sidestep them.

How difficult is to play Tekken7? Each character have like 150+ moves which is insane.
