- We spent a couple of weekends building the exterior walls out. Covered up that spray foam and gave ourselves something to attach cabinets to. It didn't go as smoothly as I had wanted and there are lots of spots that are triggering me but I've moved on and it's all good. LOL. Not really. I'm losing my mind over it but it will be alright.
We hope you enjoy this video and find it useful. Give it a like and subscribe to our channel. It would really mean a lot to us. Hit that little bell icon as well so you don't miss any future videos we put out.

See you are building a woody mate!
Bus is looking spot on!
Thanks. Next video is the bed frame and the beginnings of the kitchen cabinets.
@@genxers You should make the bed out of hay bales.
That way you can literally go for a roll in the hay!
@@aggyrempel3618 Bwuahahahahahaha! LOL!
They might be a fire hazzard.
That turned out very nice.
Can't wait to see the cabinets
There are some areas that I'm not at all happy with. But at $80 per sheet of plywood, we will live with it! LOL. I began the cabinets after this video. That's going much better. I'm not reliant on the physical lines of the bus to build those.
It would sure be neat to include some aspects from mother nature into the bus. Like birch tree spindles or as a support for a table.
Interesting to incorporate the great outdoors with the great indoors!
Use birch bark to wall paper a wall, or animal pelts.
I like the birch bark idea. We have the ceiling on the transition to figure out. That might be nice to put on that area.
The paneling looks great
Pro Tip: when using a table saw to cut bevels, it is safer to put the fence on the other side. There is less chance of it binding and kicking back if the workpiece is on the top side of the blade.
I'm going to try that on the next 2 x 6's I rip down. It does tend to bind on us.
Have you considered running the bus off of bio diesel?
You can make it out of deep fryer grease.
Your exhaust will smell like french fries
for real
I have not even though of that. How is it made?
@@genxers Approximately 100 pounds of oil or fat are reacted with 10 pounds of a short-chain alcohol (usually methanol) in the presence of a catalyst (usually sodium hydroxide [NaOH] or potassium hydroxide [KOH]) to form 100 pounds of biodiesel and 10 pounds of glycerin (or glycerol). Glycerin, a co-product, is a sugar commonly used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
@@freddywong28 That is very interesting. I'm going to have to look into it.
I love wood working and all, but all those angles would have me doing exactly what you said at the beginning of the video. Can't help but notice you got some ink on your thumbs and right forearm! Nicely done! What's up with the kids? Is it a waveform?
The angles and the not straight anything is a bit much yes. LOL Got some ink yes. Kids names and heartbeat waveform with their birth year. Arm is an aperture and a shared tatt that Christina and I have.
