Lisa has her own Record label called LLOUD and she also working with RCA Records in America for her solo career, she didn't sign with YG for her solo career. She signed with YG and Blackpink for group activities only. The MV is filmed in Thailand and with VEVO in America. she did great job for her first official MV for her record label LLOUD.

Fun fact: The girls in white hood are actually thai young women who got auditioned, but they unaware that they are going to dance with the superstar Lisa, they dance without music, only counting and this place was shoot in china town, bangkok, which was rumored to close early and got compensated for it. The 3 women featured were all transgendered. She also hired LGBTQ people for this video. Lisa highly promoted her country and her people with her. She's really a good role model to everyone. That's why I love her! She's a rockstar indeed!

Lisa herself was the creative director on her first sol debut LALISA, that's why you will find some similarities here and there in Rockstar MV.
And She filmed in Thailand, in yaowarat road, it's bangkok's chinatown. She filmed at 2am - 5am for three days and she paid each shops there to close early for 20,000 THB per day (thailand monthly salaries is 15,000 THB) that's so queen giving back to her people ❤

Lisa’s new song also sampled Tame Impala’ song “New Person, Same Old Impossible.” I especially love the part where she drops her voice in a soft and sultry way saying “ I’m gonna make you rock hard” 😉🥵 This MV, song, choreo and visulas are hot. It represents Lisa and her Thai background. The song reminds me of a Tokyo Drift vibe. She has the Suki look. It has the swag and aura that Lisa is known for.
