Very neat video. One of my favorite memories is using a Case trapper in yellow bone to field dress a pronghorn buck in the middle of a sage brush flat in Wyoming by headlight while it was lightly snowing. The backstory is my step son shot the buck right a sunset and forgot to put his kill kit in his pack. When I opened my kill kit my Case hunter fell out and rolled under some sage and we couldn’t find it. The only option we had was to use the trapper I always keep in my pocket to field dress the buck using the gutless method and the knife worked very well. I did go back the next morning and thankfully found my other knife! We dubbed his buck Trapper in honor of my Case knife.
The mini wharncliffe Trapper is probably my favorite patten besides the Barlow! They really need to make more of them. I have 2 so far and will probably get the smooth yellow! Thanks for sharing!
Love the sportsman series… wish we had some for the fisherman though. Not a huge fan of the other covers, but I do like the oak. Absolutely geeked about the vault pattern though!! Awesome! Diggin the handlebar, TC! Keep up the great work, boys👊🏻
That yellow bone is a looker. I especially like the ones that have not completely taken the dye & retains some white color. The Black Curley Oak is one of my favorites of the presentation. There is just something special about any Case XX with wood covers. The seafoam green G10 reminds me of a Chevy C10 Cheyenne pickup, but the Bel-Air is a good reference too. This year is going to be terrible for my pocket book and my sanity lol. Really hard decisions will have to be made. Thanks T.C. & Maury 🤣 . I wanted to ask you two about the Case Russell Jigged Brown Bone Razor I just bought. Love Case knives. What exactly is meant by Russell jigged? I understand the term jigged of course but what is the Russell reference. Also, can you guys give me some history about the blank crest that appears on this great knife, especially in reference to the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Wondering why all of Case's three blade knives don't have their own springs? My Case Seahorse Whittler does, why not the Stockman? My Buck 301 & 303 does. My Bokers do. I hate how they cram three blades into two slots (springs). Seen too many with blade rub as a result.
Tiffany Blue is #1abfff (and trademarked). Bel Air blue is not registered but #428bca [edit: #819ac1] would be a much better approximation for it (and much darker). Case blue appears to be #C0FFEE. PS - release the Razors!!!

I was really hoping for a Barlow in the smooth yellow bone. Disappointed to not see one here. Hopefully added later in the year.

We love dealing with natural materials like bone because they will each take the dye and jigging differently so no two are truly the same
