this is probably one of the best songs ever written. the outro is actually pure genius. i might prefer the original outro a smidge but wow does this band bring the heat!!! forever underrated and what erra is missing these days for me.

This was amazing, both of your voices are so beautiful. I know the genre calls for the guttural a lot, but the way your voices pair like that at the end with such a soothing tone was phenomenal, and added so much to an already exquisite piece of music

I know this song was written 6 years prior do Shadowbringers, perhaps even earlier, and mayhaps it doesn't even have anything to do with Final Fantasy, but lyrics kinda do be relatable to Shadowbringers' plot...
The title is only half inspired by FF and the lyrical content is not. I played a lot of FF Dissidea and was obsessed with Cecil and Warrior Of Light. -Alan

Even though lyrics are not related to FF, it's a fun coincidence. If you don't mind spoilers...
In Shadowbringers, the Warrior of Light gets transported to another dimension where he must become the Warrior of Darkness in order to save said dimension. Not only that, but his soul is also reunited with the version of his soul that lived in that dimension and had failed to save it. Amidst all that, he's at a constant risk of breaking apart due to the amount of Light he had to consume.
I think the last verse kinda do describe all of the above...

@@buryingbrightness Stormwolf is actually about a childhood friend that died in a hit & run. He loved wearing wolf shirts and his middle name was Storm! Thank you so much for enjoying it. We can’t wait for you to hear the remaster of it. ❤️🔥
